Least I actually hold Tullow shares and am honest about my position and intentions. You just pop up every red day and try look for validation. The whole market is red today and I'm still well in profit even at 35p. Never tried to hide anything and I'm waiting for the Kenya RNS as its a real opportunity. May or may not happen but for me is worth the gamble.

It's nice to see that we have such vocal support for the downside of the share price. It means they are worried about their shorts or regretting not getting in at 34.7p. By the way they carry on you could swear oil was back down to $20. Simple fact is that the oil price is still well over $80 and the share price is much much lower than it was when oil was $60. If they want to short at these prices, I say let them. Sometimes you have to learn the hard way.

NSVPatel .... the only one who needs educating is you. For some reason, possibly ignorance or shorting agenda, you seem to be making the assumption that hedges simply set a floor price. That is blatant nonsense. Hedges are complex instruments and some of Tullows hedges have a ceiling price. Can't recall the exact price, however it's in the 70's. So any price rise or drop above the ceiling price makes no difference to Tullow, as they still get the ceiling price. The info on their hedging is in their RNS's, should you care to educate yourself.

You lost the argument and it really doesn't matter to me what you think. I've been watching and posting on this board for 3 years now. One thing I'm crystal clear on is the fact that everytime we get the likes of you, colti, slater and et al. posting abuse on here we get a significant rise in share price. Up over 10% in a week already and I can't wait for Wednesday next week.

1 Barrel of oil hedged with a ceiling price of $70.
Oil price rises to $135 a barrel.
Barrel of oil will be sold for $70.
Oil price drops to $85 a barrel.
Barrel of oil will still be sold for $70.
Rest my case.

I think with all these blue days in a row, people missing their entry point of 34.6p over 0.3p and shorting at 35p it is bringing out the worst in them

Just randomly joined and decided to start abusing and spouting nonsense. Must be colti, slater or one of the likes of them.

That's the irony .... when the oil price went up we were told how hedges were holding us back and stopping us benefitting. However, somehow when the oil price dropped these hedges didn't seem to matter.

People got tired of waiting for the Ghana gas and Kenya RNS's and sentiment changed.....

Hmmmmm ... me thinks your comment today is a bit contradictory to your previews opinion on this.

I think we'll see a lot more blue days in the run up to the 2022 trading update on the 25th. What happens after that we'll see.

Notice how it doesn't take much to shut the shorters up. Every big drop they pop up out of nowhere and leave just as fast. Always after telling us the world is going to end and Tullow will have to raise equity. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, however you can clearly see they have an agenda. They might not be on fire just yet, but they're definitely smouldering.

12th March 2021 .... Share Price: 60.82p

The share price rose 100% in a month and it's not impossible for this to happen again if the 2022 update is favorable. Throw Kenya and a Ghana gas deal into the mix and maybe we even get that 90p by 3pm.

It's impossible to buy at the bottom and sell at the top every time .... no one can predict the future. Just got to do what feels right and live with it. I should of sold at 60p but was greedily dreaming of £1. That said my situation is different, as I have a healthy profit even at 35p. At the moment I don't need the money so happy to hold longer in the hope that Kenya happens and I win big...... I do say win as this is just like a casino.

If this did go to £16, the question is by then would you have already sold for 50p, £1, £2, £3, £5 or £8?

I always see it as a good sign when the shorters pop up on here and get tetchy. That other fool colti seems to have given up and finally realised his short at 35p wasn't smart. Won't be long before slater606 slinks off as well.
