At a minimum they could supply it, bill and not get paid for it. Pretty sure there'd be a massive tax saving in doing that.

Everyone still banging on about the debt. As long as its manageable it's not an issue. Like when you take your mortgage out. Long as you make your payments you don't stress about it till remortgaging time. If anything thanks to inflation the debt in real terms is probably a lot less than it was 2 years ago. We dont all try to pay our mortgages off in a few years. This will bounce back oin the new year. We haven't found world peace and free green energy just yet.

Laugh all you want. I just hope you close your short in time as if you think 35p or less is fair value you're seriously deluded.

Only track oil down .... it's one week till Christmas. Think we're going to have to wait till the new year for the pendulum to swing the other way again.

Possible motivations ....

* I'm bitter because I sold my Tullow shares way too early and missed an opportunity for a 200% gain on my holding.
* I'm trying to convince myself that I did the right thing by selling my Tullow shares and missing out on a 200% gain on my holding.
* I'm short on Tullow and hoping the share price drops.
* I'm just a sad individual who takes pleasure from other peoples misfortune.

On the last point .... I really don't understand the mentality of people like that. Why would you wish anyone to lose money is beyond me. If I sell and it tanks afterwards, I'm obviously happy I sold however I take no pleasure from the new holder losing money.

Like it or not.....sentiment has a lot to do with it. Sentiment has turned negative and it is reflected in the share price and the posting

on this BB. Ask yourself why would anyone invest if they did some research and read all the negativity on here. I honestly think if you hold and want the share price to rise you should not be posting negatively on this BB. I have doubts at times too, however I don't come on here to vent. Those that do are no better than the shorters constantly telling us we're tanking.

Maybe I'm naive, however I don't think it is just Tullow. Most of the UK stock market is in the doldrums. When the share price tanks you always have to ask yourself what has changed to cause it. With Tullow the answer is generally nothing, which is why we recover. Yes, if you're clever enough to trade it's a great opportunity. However, I'm not so I wait patiently. One day I'll get my price point and exit or when I lose patience I'll sell and move on.

Life's not fair and neither is the stock market. Complaining will not get you anywhere.

PS: Those bags of cement are winning hearts and minds and perhaps....just perhaps....they are filled with dollars to pay for a Ghana gas agreement government signatures ;-)

It's a down down in their tiny mind as they're praying they make a profit on their short. Share price is still 36p .... flat lining for sure .... down .... in their dreams.

Bet you crapped yourself when you saw the RNS this morning ..... I wouldn't get too excited about your little short just yet. SP is still 36p. Still time to stop yourself getting burnt.

I know....madness. One thing to remember is most of the FTSE is down in the doldrums at the moment. As an example, when we last entered the FTSE 250 one of the challengers we pipped at the post for our place was the Restaurant Group which was around 70p a share at the time. That's now sitting at 27p. No consolation really, however it isn't just Tullow that is getting hammered at the moment.

Exploration well only to be drilled in 2024 ..... unfortunately or fortunately depending on the drill results. So not going to have much immediate impact on the share price. However, is nice to know that things are actually happening. Let's hope RNS's are like buses ..... we don't get one for ages and two come along at once. I'm really hoping we see that Ghana gas RNS before Christmas.

I've found the perfect trading pattern.....

Go long on oil and short on Tullow..... I know, I know ..... sounds crazy doesn't it ..... but damn it'll make you money. WTAF ..... oil breaks $80 and we go red.

I'll take that as a yes....

We definitely only track oil on the way down.....

Tullow is the best thing under the sun.....absolute bargain at these prices.
