It does indeed mean business.
An undertaking is “a promise given by one party to the Court, frequently of mandatory nature and relating to an obligation to the other party in proceedings.” Undertakings are a legally binding promise which carry severe consequences if breached.
It won't have been easy to formulate given the GOI stipulations, but I would indeed expect the process to be expedited now.
That's not to forget that the UK and India are trying to agree a trade agreement this month. The timing of our award will undoubtedly by politically motivated.
