Well technically to 0, however putting that aside there appears to be absolutely no end in sight to this now multi year decline.

Most will be aware that New York City is suing 5 oil majors over climate change. Will other areas, or possibly countries follow?.

Joe, you posted "Out" when the SP was at 37.10 ,and bought back in under 36, giving Shire a Strong Buy??? A little lost on that, may be it's just me. I may have misread your posts, that's just my interpretation.

Over the short term I would agree the Bax acquisiton has weighed very heavily on the SP, it's difficult to view it otherwise!. Longer term the jury is still out, however you could view the savage price fall since acquisition as allowing for corcens over the price paid - admittedly a rudimentary take.

Tom, I'm not sure online forums are often the best guide!. It comes down to future FCF imv. If Shire keep generating around current levels of free cash flow the SP looks value longer term, just IMV. Appreciate with your holding, you may have read far more widely on Shire than many who post here.

Starting to emerge at TATE. Some nice earnings upgrades since the interims. The share price also nicely ahead on my last Strong Buy, however we are very early in a longer term re-rating IMV.

It's multiple directors buying. And I followed today. Held DFS over a number of years previously, remember the original floation well. Have been biding my time, waiting for an opportunity to buy back in.

Poole, with respect you may be confusing revenue with profit, which can be very different!. We have seen this week's sector news, it's a competitive market and DFS are still here and thriving for a good reason.

GSK China pharma sales fell by a double digit number in the last Q, vaccine performance was better. Forming some pharma JV with a local China company may be a way forward imv.

With respect it was not the point of the post, it was to look at the reasons he gave, not whether his timing was good. And in relation to timing, his previous exits of CNA, RMG, BT.A and now GSK are not too shabby, it's stock selection that may be his less positive factor of late.

Not a major fan of his, however worth reading his statement on exiting GSK. A lot of discussion here around the dividend, however some may be overlooking the wider issue of the GSK pipeline. Growing price pressures in respiratory also weighing on the SP imv.
