I'm afraid it can really.
Firstly take in to account we are at record stock market levels,
8 years in to a bull market, what happens during the next severe stock market fall?.
Then consider the wider economic context, this is as good as it gets for the
UK economy imv. Generational low unemployment, nearly a decade in to an economic expansion.
Will Marstons feel no impact as the current economic cycle turns down in to the next recession?.
You can make a case the very significant share price fall discounts some of this,
but all?. Very much doubt it, just IMV Only, as always DYOR.
My best guess on wider macro is the UK will be in recession within 12 months, if not it will be very close.
