As I said, not here to gloat. If it's any consolation I think the market overreacted a bit. Still a way off for a vaccine to be rolled out on a large scale.

We must all accept though, that Alastair missed a huge opportunity here. He simply hasn't delivered anything, and as I've been saying since May. The longer he delivers nothing, the more it will cost shareholders.

Anyway. Genuinely sorry for all the people who are down today. I've been there, so not here to gloat.

Bear in mind Alastair promised with every fibre of his being that there would be no placing. Days later we had a uber placing, the likes of which is rarely seen on the AIM.

Also, bear in mind the last several webinars have indeed delivered nothing in the way of positive news, and only served to crash the SP. So yes, we've had two webinars now which have been held with no positive news to report.

........Has anyone considered that the overall purpose of CONDOR may simply be to evaluate all the tests thoroughly before the government and other individuals commit any more cash. They may simply be comparing AVCT's test to other tests, not to mention waiting for other tests to come online, like DVRG's Microtox BT. Is CONDOR really benefiting AVCT?

CONDOR is ultimately a programme full of government cronies and venture capitalists. Why do the people involved have to sign NDA's? Ask yourselves that. Why can't Alastair keep his own shareholders in the loop? Why would the CONDOR not allow CEO's to relay important data back to shareholders?

The whole thing stinks. Alastair jumping ship stinks, and everything else that's happened since May stinks.

There are no doubt better tests nearing the market as I warned there would be all the way back in May. Look at Microtox BT, arguably more accurate than AVCT's test, more economical, less wasteful, and unlike the AVCT test, it will be digitally integrated into a huge data server. AVCT's test is looking more and more antiquated with each day that goes by, and it isn't even on the market yet. The one saving grace is that Affimers may be used in the breath test, though that's not certain yet, it could be Aptamers used instead as far as I understand.

He sold one third of his current holding. Options don't count because he hasn't paid for those.

.....................Mid-Summer was Alastair's original timeline all the way back in May. I predicted that nothing would be on the market until October or November at the earliest. Yesterdays news only proves news is still a very long way off yet IMO.

If yesterdays RNS was an isolated incident it wouldn't be so bad, but this is becoming they typical MO of Al.

Back in May he promised with all his heart and sould that there wouldn't be a placing days before organising one of the largest placings on the AIM this year. Insider trading is evidently a problem here too IMO. Before all us mug punters know any better there have been wild swings in the SP time and time again leading up to news. To see people congratulating a man who has so far delivered nothing that he has promised and only delivered placings he promised he wouldn't on the purchase of a new house is just pure insanity.

Yes, the stench definitely lingers. Sefton essentially walked in here, got mug punters to fund a huge buffet, devoured the lot for himself in one sitting, then dropped his trousers, took a huge shzit right in the middle of the room and walked away leaving said mug punters to clear it up.

ICON needs cash, and investors know it. Rinse and repeat. Can see this back under .01p soon enough again IMO.

Assuming Alastairs banging the PREcision drum like he did in the last webinar after he got his hands on the £50m. Given the SP was pumped up on the back of the LFT, it's strange he always avoids mentioning it.

Here's an piercingly accurate yet much unduly maligned post of mine from many moths ago:

.........I suspect it's because every time Alastair opens his mouth since the placing, it's usually to eject more fluff.

As far as updates and webinars go, the market is now learning that the only thing they generally reveal is that AVCT is way behind and the SP tanks as a consequence. People getting out before the inevitable Alastair classics like "soon", "in the near future", and "in due course" make their usual appearance.

I think you'll find all of the products the Affimers are used in are nowhere near being on the market yet, contrary to what everyone was led to believe. Added to that after months of development and testing, Alastair is reluctant to tell the market how well any of them work. That's why the market is behaving the way it is Timster.
