I think these mob based ad hominem insults are growing rather tiresome now every time I raise a pertinent point.

From the outside looking in, I think you'll find the people who quite evidently have serious issues here are those who are looking on the bright side of the pitch black room Alastair has locked them in who now refuse to admit the room is in fact dark.

I've stated before, I'm not here to discuss myself. I explained my reasons in umpteen posts before and have better things to do than argue the toss about myself every time I make a reasonable post about AVCT.

If people want to understand my reasoning, my thoughts, and how I went from being bullish based on what Alastair preached as gospel, all the way to waking up to reality and calling his behaviour out for what is are free to check my posting history and all will be revealed. If you can't be bothered doing that, and perhaps learning something, I will not continue to explain myself to idle posters on here. We are here to discuss the company and raise issues about the company, not continually question each other.

Bear in mind Alastair chose the path to market. All the way from design to validation he chose the third parties. As far as I can tell, everything he has chosen thus far, he has chosen poorly. The only correct decision he has made was selling a third of his holding before crashing the SP and buying a house. Other companies have gone through the same processes and got their shzit to market, or are about to, so no, I don't buy the "blame it on third parties argument". A CEO has one job that he's paid very well to do, and that's to make good astute decisions in a timely manner.

I said the original timeline. The original timeline prior to the placing was the LFT test to market by summer. In another interview he said it would definitely be on the market by Christmas. Not sure what planet you're on to be honest. Even die hard AVCT fanatics accept that Alastair has over-promised and under-delivered thus far, not to mention missing almost every timeline he originally set.

ODX/Mologic looking like their antigen test could end up being ready before AVCT's now. That will be a mammoth blow IMO.

We now see Boris talking about Covid being defeated by spring. Not that I buy that personally, but stranger things have happened.

More and more drugs and tests are hitting or getting close to hitting the market now, not to mention a huge vaccine roll-out.

If AVCT gets a LFT to market by Spring/Summer (Exactly 12 months behind Alastairs original timeline) will there be a place for it? Well, yes I'd imagine so, but the potential profits we must all agree, given the greater choice in the market , will almost certainly be greatly diminished. Not to mention the market will start valuing covid testing companies far more reasonably in the coming months IMO as people see light at the end of the tunnel emerging.

The reality currently is the market cap here is obscenely inflated on what is now looking likely to be a greatly diminishing market in the next 6 months or so. The reality is the boat looks like it has well and truly sailed while Alastair was busy buying houses, scratching his ring and sniffing his fingers.

The cancer treatment IMO has no value until phase one and perhaps phase two data from the clinical trials has been announced and the results are hopefully positive. A long wait for that yet though. Alastair's latest RNS was a cheap attempt to give the market some news to offset the discontent of him not delivering on any of his original covid timelines while other companies are starting to deliver.

Overall, this is has become a pretty sorry stock IMO, and I would hope more investors begin asking questions as we enter the new year. Passive acceptance of nothing will only result in precisely that.

As I've said all along DOH, it's stands to reason he's likely to get something to market eventually, but the profits being bandied around earlier in the year will be badly dented. That's been my position all along. My biggest gripe is Alastair and everything he's said and done along the way. If shareholders were more keen to hold him to account instead of heaping praise on him for nothing, he might actually think twice before fobbing you all off next time and perhaps achieve something worthwhile.

I said I think the odds are he will get a test to market eventually and the SP will likely reflect that. My prediction was that the deadlines he set up to Christmas were BS and that all the deals he did in May stank to high heaven. Not to mention the rotten house purchase.

When he will actually achieve something, I've no idea, but my biggest gripe is with Alastair and everything he's done up to now and is still doing at the moment. Though I think the odds are he will likely get something to market given the chances he has. Even a trained chimp could manage that.

Indeed, I was bullish here to begin with and I did buy into the story. In fact I point that out regularly in response to people who ask what my interest is. I also point you to the posts I made immediately after that where I took the massive red flags of the Kamani deal and £50m placing Alastair swore to the heavens wouldn't happen days before it did. I call it as I see it.

.............As predicted last week, Myles'prediction was nonsense. I told you the next RNS would likely be a big ball of fluff Alastair scraped out of his navel and Myles would come out of the woodwork to try and spin it as good news. This is so predictable now it's painful.

Indeed, the very few diagnostic companies that have prepared for such an eventuality should benefit greatly. NCYT have always been ahead of the game, and unlike most other companies, they has a very fine honorable gentleman at the helm. With the exception of NCYT, the current crisis, coupled with a pitiful lack of forward planning has proven how hopeless not just the government is, but how pitifully unimaginative most people leading the diagnostic charge are.

.........The new mutant strain not only throws a spanner in the works of the wider market again, but it also throws a spanner in the works of most covid vaccine and diagnostic companies. The news potentially adds more uncertainty to the testing space than anything else at the moment.

This is yet another scenario I predicted. Al wasted time trying to put lipstick on a pig when he could have generated 6 months worth of serious profit if he'd actually got the test to market when he promised. Whether or not he has managed to get the current test/tests close to accurate could soon be rendered a pointless argument anyway. 6 moths faffing around trying to perfect a test that could soon be rendered useless or far less accurate if indeed the new strain is different enough to not show up consistently during testing.

...................I mentioned back in spring that the competition would be fierce if AVCT didn't get their test to market by September/October. Now people who are licking their wounds here are all saying there is room for everyone in the testing space. Now, what they neglect to understand is that the later AVCT gets a test to market, the better it will need to be. If AVCT had released a test, as I said they should do in Summer, even if the accuracy was less than ideal, they could have raked in some profits while perfecting another test, but what Alastair elected to do was spend nearly a year trying to put lipstick on a pig. Evidently they are struggling to get the test to a standard that will be suitable for mass testing IMO. What this means is that while other more innovative and advanced tests are being designed and coming to market, Alastair will be left trying to sell a potentially less attractive test that he spent a year faffing around with into a fiercely competitive market, as opposed to selling a one of a kind test (which it was in spring/summer) into a ravenous market. Even if the test wasn't as accurate as everyone hoped, he could have established AVCT in the market place. Let's face it, he's totally fecked this up.

Lateral flow tests are falling out of favour now and new tests being designed. I fear Alastair has spent too long trying to perfect the imperfect. Being serious, nobody here can deny the truth in what I'm saying.

....................Reading through Twitter it feels like more people are waking up to reality now. Even some of the old faithful are having second thoughts. I think reality is starting to bite and people are starting to take off their rose tinted specs. It's just a shame it's taken this long for people to realise how monumentally played they've been.

This is even news to me. Would you mind posting more detail about the new position you claim he's taken and any sources where I can research that further.
