2 ADVFN QBT boards in fact. One for rampers only (everyone else gets banned) and one for normal peeps.

I have just had a look at the ENET chart. Not a share I am familiar with, but I see why it has caught OSD's eye. The chart trajectory is pretty near idemntiacal to QBT, but over 6 rather than 25 years.

I certainly agree with you that you don't play it safe, OSD.

I am a 'glass haf full' kind of bloke, so I see the sunny side of everything : a hand of shares like QBT and ENET will save you the expense of employing an accountant to minimise your CGT bill.

Why do you need to ask who I am, OSD?

A couple of weeks ago you told us you had identified me, at vast expense.

The less you say about the 'fun' you have, OSD, the better for all of us including you.

UserSteve, OSD has lost interest in QBT, and assumes the rest of he board has too.

He reckons everyone is much more interested in his lifestyle, professional life, and recreations. I predict that it will not be long before he gives us a rendition of the Engineer's Song ,celebrating his design and construction expertise.

Try looking up the meaning of 'literacy'. Clue: it does not mean 'the ability to differentiate between fact, assertion, and opinion'.

Also reread your own post (you will enjoy that). You will see that YOU accused ME of posting as a profession, not t'other way about.

Now for something for you reflect upon while to wait for the markets to re-open:

Would you like to provide the evidential basis for that (completely incorrect) assertion?

In truth, the difference between me and you is that I differentiate in my posts between:

1.ascertained fact

2. inferences from ascertained fact

3.my opinion, and

4.my comments upon the observations of others

whereas you do not.

In the case of (4), I also make clear whether I do or do not know the truth of the assertion, as for example when commenting upon posts making assertions about supposed goings on behind the taverna.

Also, I don't get on my high horse when others make jokes at my expense, or make threats against posters who do so.

Chacun a son gout (as the Greeks don't say). So long as you derive pleasure from your posts, that is good; it makes no odds whether anyone else does.

Don't give up the day job just yet OSD.

I would like to be charitable and assume that your 'sermon' today was an attempt at irony, but there are limits to our ability willingly to suspend disbelief (though peeps could be forgiven for thinking otherwise when they read the ramping posts here).

Neither preaching nor wit is your forte either, and it would be brave, nay foolhardy, to rely upon QBT to save your bacon. Fortunately there will will always be employment for fitters and mechanics, so you ought to get by.

To be fair though the whole QBT saga sine 2021 has been 'variations on a theme', so posts are evergreen. The posts prompted by previous 'breakthroughs', 'imminent commercial roll outs' and Gardin interviews can be recycled time and again.

The company was incorporated over a quarter of a century back, and has subsequently changed its name and the nature of its business. Gardin has been at the helm for most of its existence, and has lost money for its shareholders in a wide variety of business endeavours, of which quantum computing is the latest. The two constants are (1)his unshakeable optimism that whatever the current business is will be a roaring financial success, and (2) the losses each of those businesses incur.

It is true that company specific BBs will generally be of interest only to holders and putative holders of that companies shares, and I suppose those short the shares (though the numbers of PI shorters are probably far lower than you 'believe', and far lower than the numbers long).

Applying your logic, if no one should believe any critical post because it must be an attempt by a shorter to depress the price, no one should believe any laudatory post either because it must be an attempt by a holder to ramp the price.

Actually, you are closer than usual to the mark there. It is unwise to rely on anything you read on a BB without checking it out for yourself. BBs are really of use only to draw one's attention to things which have passed under one's own radar which ought to be checked out . That, and for the odd bit of amusement to lighten the day.

How many times a day does Scotwins have to post his repetitive screeds before LSE step in and bars him for disruptive behaviour?

If posters were limited to (say) half a dozen posts a week perhaps they would consider whether they have anything new to say before posting.

Such excessive posting is in any event counterproductive. At best it provokes the thought 'Methinks thou dost protest too much' and at worst people don't bother to read the posts at all when they see they are from one of the incontinent posters.

Scotwins, take a couple of days off, calm down, look at QBT objectively and dispassionately, and revise your opinions to reflect what you know rather than what you wish for.

Even if ( as I have little doubt you will) you continue to believe that there is a conspiracy to denigrate QBT and Gardin, at least read and reflect upon the posts of those like OSD who 'hope' rather than 'expect' that all will come good for QBT, who recognise the risks, and temper their cautious optimism with realism.
