If ever there was a slow burner, it must be QBT. 25 years of unbroken losses incured in a wide variety of disastrous business ventures, 4 years since it pivoted to computing for the last 2 years of which the company has claimed to have products ready for commercial roll out, and numerous capital raises over the years, all at issue prices which are well under water.

In the circumstances the perpetual expectation of an astronomic rise in the SP, within weeks if not days is surprising. On any view, a triumph of expectation over experience.

The euphoria verging on hysteria here on today's reversal of the price fall over the past week (still leaving the SP way down Year to date, despite the announcement that in May that customer demonstrations and trial s are in progress) is baffling. PS, As its a lovely day here and I am feeling magnanimous, I shall give you a tip OSD. If you want to move the good ship 'Passing Wind' from the small craft register to the main register, apply to register it in Guernsey. Then you will get an old style cloth bound 'blue book' certificate of registration, rather than the nasty plastic encapsulated sheet the mainland ports of registry now issue. It looks much more impressive when one has to deal with 'jobsworth' port officials. You don't need to live in Guernsey (I don't and never have) to register there. You will have to have the boat officially measured though, unless it is production line tupperware, in which case the builders' spec may suffice (though I am not sure about that).
