You seem to have a following on the ADVFN board, OSD. Fame at last! Or maybe it is just that they are as bored and disillusioned with QBT there as posters seem to be here.

Two or three capital raises ago, the raise was to see QBT through to commercialisation of its tech

2024 (after further capital raises) was the year that QBT would be cash generative

2025 after that revenue failed to materialise) was billed as the year of commercial roll out of the tech

2026 (if the cash runway does not run out beforehand will presumably be billed as the year of the capital raise to see QBT through to commercial;isation of its tech.

I suppose the merry-go-round has a pleasing symetricality.

The obvious candidates to mine BTC have long seemed to me to be electricity companies compelled to buy renewable generatated energy they don't want. If they mined when they have surplus electricity , they could using the BTC mining to balance consumption with generation, improving the economics of the main business while ming a few bitcoin as a bonus.

Perhaps though it is more economic to leave the mining to specialist miners, and solve their generation /consumption imbalances through the contract terms on which they supply /withhold electricity to the specialist miners.

Only down another 8% this week.

The bulls will take heart from that.

Plutuq, you are wrong. The correct number is 25, not 2.5, years.

QBT has not achieved any commercial success in any of its ventures - ranging through swimming pools to quantum computing, - throughout its whole quarter century existence.

There are 3 constants:-

1. Trading losses in every year of its existence.

2. Destruction of shareholder capital

3. Large sums paid to Gardin.

Three possible explanations come to mind for continued PI purchases of its shares:-

1. The triumph of hope over experience

2. The willing suspension of disbelief

3. A philanthropic concern for the welfare of elderly bearded Italians

Think about it. If any of the big players the tech is supposedly being demonstrated to had concluded that it works as Gardin asserts, or even that it can be made to work relatively straightforwardly, that player would have struck a deal with QBT by now, or would have been building a strategic holding of QBT shares with a view to a takeover, or both.

Correction. My bad. OSD hasn't faded away. He is tinkering with his bollinder and seagull, or has 'gorn fishin'.

I thought I should get that correction in myself, to save OSD the trouble.

Old QBT holders and bulls don't die, kaiser. They just fade away. Like OSD.

The Revd OSD has obviously been taking advice from his Calvinist counterpart from the Wee [Nearly] Free Church of QBT in Edinburgh.

The date prophesied for Revelation and the Second (or is it in fact still the first?) Coming has passed, and nothing happened.

That 's a relief. The constant refrain of 'Idiot' recalls to our mids the endless (and empty) conversation between the Captain and Antonio' in the tale of The Dark and Stormy Night':-

An hour or so labouring over the engine to get you off to the fishing grounds should stimulate your creative juices.

Oh dear. oh dear. Who is this All4 loss? The weak and wavering OSD, who sees the light of truth at best dimly (as through a grubby string vest hanging in the dark engine space beside his ancient semi-diesel) seeks to divert responsibility upon a figment of his own imagination.

So many words, so little message. The LSE Church of QBT has lost ite way, the people know not what to believe, and the congregation dwindles week by week.

Not so the ADVFN Wee [Nearly] Free Church of QBT. The message from the pulpit at the service in Edinburgh this morning was clear:-

' The book of Stockopaedia has long told that QBT is a sucker stock, and to be avoided.

The prophets Elipses, 1Knocker, Anddownitgoes and FLC warned you to heed not the blandishments of the false prophet Gardin with his promises of. revenue by y/e 2024 and a second coming by the end of summer 2025. They warned you to close your ears to the words of his followers who sought to lead you to ruin by going 'all in', and the blandishments of OSD (he of weak and wavering faith) who told you 'it won't do [much] harm to buy a few'.

But you heeded not the book of Stockopaedia, and reviled the four prophets of ADVFN, and bought at 1p, more at 1.5p, and even at over 3p.

And now that 2024 has passed without revenue, and the day that Gardin and the false prophets of LSE decreed as the day of revelation of the second coming has passed in silence, and the SP is below 0.7p and still falling, you cry unto the lord 'Lord, Lord, have mercy on us and our portfolios. We dinna ken. We dinna ken'.

And the Good Lord looks down upon you and says, in his infinite mercy, 'Well, ye ken the noo'.

OSD, some we win, some we don't. So long as no one has bet the farm on QBT it does not greatly matter in the grand order of things.

I hope that, contrary to my expectation, it does come good. I shall be no poorer and holders will get a welcome present - and the opportunity to poke a bit of fun at me, which I will take in good part. If I am right and it does not come good, I shall be well content if I have helped a few to resist the Siren song of FOMO.

As for you, the Marlin and the Swords will bite neither more nor less, whatever the fate of QBT.

How are you getting on with your 'camels and needles' sermon for this Sunday?

I don't insult either. I just fill in the bits OSD is too modest to post himself.

And, very occasionally,I offer a few word of advice when OSD finds himself in difficulty, as he says he is when trying to craft his sermons to 'hit the spot' with QBT investors.

It behoves us all to give credit where credit is due, and to help each other whenever we can.

And, OSD, a word to the wise - don't refer to the widow's mite when you pas around the collection plate.

It might be tactful too to wear only your second best string vest.

A bit of tact goes a long way, I find.

OSD, if you are going to preach to QBT holders with a view to assuaging their negativity and filling them with optimism, why not take as your text 'It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven'?

They will be comforted to know that their financial sufferings are not in vain, and that eternal bliss awaits impoverished QBT 'investors' when they pass from this mercenary world to the next.

The parable of the talents is best avoided as a subject for sermons on this board, i think. QBT investors know all too well that even to buried their moolah would have been a huge improvement on 'investing' it in QBT shares. Go with the camel and the needle.

Agreed, OSD. More is always better.

All the same, I think you are wise to go snorkelling and stay away from the town for a day or two until the fuss has died down.

How did the party go, OSD?

Did a bit of rumpty tumpty restore faith in QBT and the prophet Gardin ?

It is worse than the naughty step for you, 'Revd'.

That and the shrinking QBT SP should be the least of your worries.
