I can't see there being any negotiations either. Putin will want to keep the land he's taken, have sanctions lifted, war crimes charges dropped, Ukraine to stay out of NATO and pay no repatriations. Who's going to agree to that? If he pulls out he looks weak and is a dead man. Trump has gone quiet on the whole thing. The only way forward is to give Ukraine enough equipment to drive Russia out and stop drip feeding it to them. The sooner the West realises this the better.

Sounds like a fair analysis LoungeLizard1. If the west hadn't been so weak and given Ukraine what they needed in 2022 then we wouldn't be where we are now. I agree with the Americans. Why should they pay for European security when the likes of Germany, Italy etc aren't contributing enough. Hopefully Trump/Waltzs will be enough to make them get their act together. If not Ukraine could be in trouble.
