No saying it will go up. If Mr Market thinks Trump is going to deliver a bad deal it could go down. I don’t day trade though as I mostly get it wrong.

What I can say with some degree of certainty is we are going to see more volatility going forward. No peace deal is going to come easy.

Re-reading the so called peace plane below actually looks like a load of rubbish. What is Russia actually compromising in that? Nothing. Sounds like the same Ukrainian surrender punted in 2022. They don’t need Trump for that.

Sounds a bit like appeasing the aggressor too much to me. Recognise the land Putin has taken as Russian. Then slowly back to business as usual. The west will regret that in 5-10 years.

Maybe it is but maybe that’s the way the world is going. Russia has shown they will just try and take whatever they want into their control. China will buy cheap oil off Iran, Russia and whoever else the West sanctions. American companies didn’t win any contracts in Iraq despite all the life’s they lost there. Them days are over. If the west doesn’t stand up and bring certain countries into their sphere of influence Russia will force them to. The peace dividend we’ve enjoyed since the early 90s is over.
