Well I hope your right johnsilk. I’ve also seen shareholders holding shares in companies threatened with nationalisation, or alike lose all their money. Get locked in for years only to get back pennies of what they originally put in. I hope you’re correct but there’s huge risk here.

There’s also a risk that whatever peace deal Trump tries to push through could be rejected by Ukraine and the EU. Big divisions between the two which are already evident.

Makes sense, maybe Putin sees the inevitable end and wants to claim victory before Trump does.

More like Zelensky is the main obstacle to Ukraine's capitulation on Russia's terms so Trump can claim he ended the war. The way Trump and Elon musk are treating Zelensky is awful. Trump sees dividing Ukraine up as some kind of real estate deal. No morality in it whatsoever, no thought of what Russia has done to Ukraine and what appeasing Putin will do in the long run. He’s by far the worst president of the United States ever. If he thinks handing the Donbas to Putin will be the end of it he’s thick.
