There’s no way they’re getting a good quick deal out of Russia. Putin is prepared to send his people to die everyday and drag this out for as long as it takes to get what he wants.

Trump has already given his game away, he wants a quick deal, Ukraine won’t be joint NATO, US troops won’t be on the ground, he wants Russia back in the G7 etc etc.

I’m not optimistic at all. I think they’ll get a poor deal and Ukraine will have to go it without the U.S.

This has been the real elephant in the room for years. How are they going to seize Zhevago's share of this business? Which they will do. Its not like they are just going to forget about him. All the other legal issues have been a side show or harassment in comparison. Will they go through the courts, as they should do? In which case the remaining share holders would be offered some protection. Or will they turn up at the mines tomorrow with the bailiffs?
