I think the article in the economist is true. Not only people in the Ukrainian government but NATO and the U.S. as well. Sleepy Jo’s approach has been weak from the start. I think even the likes of Blinken, Sullivan and Austin must be sick of standing up and saying ‘we here for as long as it takes’ then not delivering anything.

No one knows what Trump is going to do. He probably won’t want to be the U.S. leader that loses in Ukraine but he won’t care what they give up either. The rest of Europe will just carry on wishing the situation just went away. But it won’t. Those of that hope Trump may find some solution to this may be bitterly disappointed. Neither Russia or Ukraine agree to his proposals, America walks away and the whole situation gets even worse.

That’s right. What is BRICs exactly? Do they have a free trade agreement? Mutual defence policy? No, and to think they’ll agree on some form of common currency is a non starter. The Chinese economy is larger than the rest of the BRICs economies put together. So any common currency would basically be based around the Yuan. Is India going to agree to that? Is Brazil going to give up the dollar? Russia isn’t even big enough to have a say yet they’re the ones shouting loudest. I wonder why that is? Maybe Russia, Iran and North Korea could start a common currency. They could call it the c#*t.

Well it struggled to break 80-85p earlier in the year. I can't see it going any higher than that without any significant fundamental news. No seaborne exports at the minute, electrical supply issues, no dividend, legal issues etc etc. The only thing driving this is speculation on what the US elections may mean. Peace could be a long drawn-out process who ever wins.

If the war ends. What do you think the Ukrainians are going to be that stupid, Putin signs some peace deal then they just send all their troops home. There will never be 100% peace while Putin is alive.

I'm not convinced a Trump win will be good for this stock, Ukraine or America. His so called Ukraine peace plan sounds more like Putin's so called peace plan. Give up your territory and don't join NATO. Putin will re-arm, ride out Trumps presidency and go for more territory. Ukraine are not likely to agree to that either. It will divide Europe. Exactly what Putin wants. The man is to stupid to be in charge of anything.
