Pboo - what are we going to do with you? Certainly not recommend you as Photographer of the Year for sure. You obviously didn't read or chose to not read the technical analysis.....so I will attempt again. Having an ESP and nodding donkey in the same well does not help you produce...in fact it does the opposite. So that doesn't make sense considering we have been expecting Angus to install an ESP in X2.....you agree with that? lol You can't test the Kimmeridge as you and others have been saying as its like running a syringe inside another piece of pipe. The pipe (representing the large size casing covering the Kimmeridge has perforations) the syringe (production tubing goes all the way from the reservoir back up to surface) moves in and out mimicking the actions of the nodding donkey. But it has no communication with the perforations as the production tubing is solid without any holes. Hope that makes sense now. ESP do not boost the flow as you suggest....they stabilise the flow and therefore protect longterm reservoir production from damage instead of a slugging type (stop start) production with varying pressures.

Pboo.....you test the potential of a well before running a completion...not afterwards....and you certainly don't throw money away by running dual completions on an unproven formation.....Considering Angus were supposed to have installed an ESP at the start of the year...who knows. You were the person insisting the crate continued an ESP....now you are stating something else? Sigh.... But the theories you have been wildly throwing about....are by well designs...completely wrong and only highlight the fact you haven't even handled a bucket of pipe dope within the oil industry.....now that is a Fact.

You’ve all seemed to have missed an important point....the Kimmeridge in X2 is behind a larger size casing and not behind the liner which covers the Oolite. So the casing would have had to have been perforated to access the Kimmeridge before running the ESP and production tubing. The polished rods / nodding donkey down hole equipment runs inside the production tubing....so how on earth do you flow test the Kimmeridge using the nodding donkey when your perforations are sealed off by the production tubing?!?! To have a polished rod assembly operating when that well is supposed to have an ESP in it is bizarre as all it does is affect the efficiency of the ESP. ESP’s aren’t miracle workers ...they stabilise flow rates / pressures instead of giving you these fabled flow increases.

Rocky - I would ignore Cashouts' remark as he is obviously a Troll judging by his posting history. Angus 12 months ago had a SP with a steady increase first by activity at BB (UKOG) and then Brockham / Lidsey operations. I said last year I didnt want Angus to overstretch themselves and take on debt to expand and take on new assets which too many shale companies did in the US to their cost....but they did and we had the now infamous 16th Nov RNS and several placings. I would hope the 2 guys at Angus (as thats all they really are), have learnt their lesson and now we can progress. Balcombe has the potential of being the best site within the entire weald basin with its Kimmeridge section being a lot thicker than at HH. This will be a 7-10 day operation and if oil is flowed at viable commercial rates then it will take circa 2 years for first oil production to commence....but we saw how the SP of UKOG was invigorated with the quick HH flow test. Brockham flow test will take longer and this for me was the company changer...ignore Lidsey as it was always designated just paying the salaries. I would have much preferred just installing the ESP on X2 and saving over 3 weeks rig cost. The Brockham flow rates of circa 2,000 bopd would be a very welcome addition. Obviously Angus only a certain percentage of that. But overhead costs of $14 (remember that has to be divided amongst the partners) with oil circa $77...that gives a very healthy return. Remember UKOG HH is in the same situation as Balcombe....no oil will be produced for circa 2 years....so I would invest in Angus purely for Brockham.

I gave a timeline for installing an ESP on X2 as I always said it didn’t make economical sense to install one on X1. Still waiting for the links, plus you said you were going to filter me weeks ago lol

Pboo - your statement "Yes, you were correct about them not installing an ESP in X1 but I never stated they were" is not correct....this is what you posted on 17th May 2018 "My guesstimate for fitting ESP's to X1 and X2 is approx 2 weeks per well which will takes us to about Friday 7th June. 96 hours for flow testing so results by 14th June latest. If it's done sooner then that's a bonus."

Pboo - I would suggest you just stick to the facts rather than assume something. I always believe in posting links when quoting a person, company or to highlight a point such as a shipping basket. Where does Vonk say ESP's? I'm not concerned about the rig being over X2 before coming down...as that just proves that the ESP had been installed. I, as well as others have asked you to provide photos of the rig being over X2 for the previous 3 plus weeks....which you could not. Why would I venture down to Lidsey when I'm running a multi-billion dollar operation supervising multiple rigs in various stages of drilling / completion / stimulation / work over?!?!? We all have a job to do and yours has been taking photos...which to be honest...throw up more questions marks than facts. My job as the oilfield expert is to provide unbiased opinion. Sometimes less is more and you should just wait for an RNS than try to solve the riddle using Google search.

Sigh.....so after requests from multiple posts from various members both on here and on WealdOilers to Pboo...we finally get somewhere. All this time I have said it does not make sense to have a nodding donkey installed over X2 if the ESP is operating and multiple requests to Pboo to provide a photo of the rig over X2 came to nothing...as the rig has been over X1 all this time. It is very sad when someone suffers from confirmation bias to purport ones own agenda. So now Angus have actually installed the ESP and the donkey has been removed. I can offer unbiased factual oilfield experience, but only if folk provide correct information. Once again....I've been proven correct. It's a shame it took so long to finally get this information.
