RE: Paul Vonks interview by Zak Mir18 Jul 2018 09:38
I thought it was a very positive interview even though out of the 4min 52sec interview 3min 12secs was spent on Tidswell / Earthquakes. Vonk dealt with the Tidswell fiasco very well and dispelling the connection between oil companies and the recent recored earthquakes from 10km below ground.
Highlights of the interview included:
HH well testing same reservoir (Kimmeridge) as Angus will be conducting at Balcombe and then Brockham prior to producing from it straight away.
HH will be very time consuming moving from exploration through to actual production.
"...Balcombe is the future growth of the company."
3min 36secs - "since our acquisition of Balcombe, we have emulated their (UKOG) portfolio in size, much much much more, we have much larger future development acreage, but we have the production licenses......and when its done they (UKOG) will have to go through the same process that we have already gone through years ago....so switch something from test to production is very time consuming."
2nd part of interview with Vonk is next week when he discusses individual fields......possible RNS then this week?
