I said 1.75m once. What I repeatedly said was that TEUs and containers were two very different things. Which they are. I accept that if they charge more or less double for a 40 foot container as for a 20 then the 3.5m TEUs is a reasonable approximation when calculating revenue.

I also repeatedly stated that all containers are to be scanned per PF. But that took a while to sink in.

I wasn’t asking for an apology for him posting something inaccurate. I was asking for an apology for his having a go for me posting something that was factually correct. The difference is huge.

I’m not expecting an apology. I can see what sort of poster/person invest is and don’t accept such courtesy.

Invest: that’s the same mistake you made in Friday when you were having a go about me saying we didn’t have a weekend of chips to be scanned. Now that Mike has helped you see the error of your ways can I have my apology?

Added the last couple of days so was very relieved to see 10% up today.

Invest: please don’t pass off opinion as fact.

I agree with everything you say there DHC

- It does not need ramping
- You do keep saying it (everything you say you’ll happily repeat ad nauseam)
- We’ve been through the ringer over the years
- This is best outlook for many years.

Obviously this is all just in our opinions. ;-)

PF was not saying it would be between 30 and 40 days. He was saying that he expected it with about 30 or 40 days. So it could have been. 3, it could have been 30 but asnits Africa these things can slip so he wouldn’t panic if it took a little longer.

Very well put feeks. Fact is that there is still some uncertainty and therefore risk. The upside to that is the buying opportunity that we are still given.

Thanks for the post Mike. Very helpful. Hopefully people will believe you when you say that all containers will need to be scanned....I was faced with some skepticism on that point. And interesting to note that the first container vessel will be on Tuesday....I wonder if Invest will be good enough to apologise for saying I was wrong on that one too....looks like it was one all on Friday ;-) I’ve had the weekend to think and I’m getting increasingly confident. I was a little confused on Friday because in my mind the RNS didn’t tell me anything new. (Hence why I was so sure there wouldn’t be one) I was pretty sure the contact was happening and was just waiting for the final sign off. It just seems that on Friday everyone else came to the same conclusion. I haven’t a clue how to judge the KSA JV. Could be unimaginably big, could just be a few small contracts here and there....either way it really feels like we have momentum back. The Africa MOU May even drop any time. Stranger things have happened. And I keep falling back on how very relaxed the whole team seemed at the AGM. Can’t fake that kind of thing. Here’s to another blue week. GLA

i got the feeling that the main terms of the contract were sorted in the LoI...which i guess are now in the draft contracts. i can't imagine there was ever that much to sort out since the AGM given that WSG were starting work there. surely they had to agree the fees and contract length before then?

the outcome of it all? you've made money, i've made a bit more money, Martyn has made even more money. don't really see why i'd be upset with the outcome. if you can't admit to your mistakes and move on then you're not going to get far in life.

i admit then i then went on to spend a whole afternoon winding you up a treat....now that i did enjoy ......not least because you clearly care more about why i type than i do about you..
