2: why is it becoming a joke? We’re 34 days since the AGM. They had exclusivity for 30 days form the LoI and then got an extension. PF expressly said at the AGM that it could have been more than 30 days as it’s Africa and a big contract and things take time.

If they don’t sign by September without more detailed reasoning then I agree it’s becoming something of a joke.

Ok, and you’ve worked out the cash burn and realised that they are going to have to raise soon and are doing so this week before the share price drops below nominal?
Ergo, they must know that the contract is not going to materialise (becuase that would be a better time to raise) yet they thought 2 weeks ago that it was (as that would have been a better time to raise).

Logical, but pretty unlikely in my mind.

I hope you’ve sold. If I saw a placing coming this week I’d have sold and would buy back post....or maybe never. Since they made it clear that no raise was on the cards in the short term from the AGM

Boris can take as hard a stance as he likes, he won’t beat the EU.....they hold all the cards. Simple fact is that no deal is bad for the EU but terrible for the UK (and Ireland....but I’m sure the EU could help them out). The EU is fearful that the U.K. will cause even more trouble with Boris and the likes of France may actually push for throwing us out as then they will at least be able to get on instead of being in purgatory with a petulant child causing endless trouble.

It was clear to the EU that may’s Threat of no deal was never credible.....but the same can be said of Boris, Parliament won’t allow it. Boris will try, Boris will fail and then it will be an election or referendum.

Trump will categorically not go to war with Iran. At least not before the election next November. He would lose too many voters on a war....they’re expensive.

Iran also don’t want a war obviously. They’re doing what N Korea did and leveraging what they can....hence the escalation in tensions.

I’m no fan of their hardline religious regime but I don’t think there’s that much difference compared with KSA. Trade and engagement is the way to “enlighten” Iranian leaders and gradually help their people move into a more accepting society.

The Iran deal will happen when the sanctions are pulled I feel. The UK Iran relations are not that bad and the Government will always want trade. Especially trade that makes the world safer.

if they wanted to sell the remaining c.3% (and i don't see why they wouldn't - if they wanted to reduce so much then surely they're clearing out their position totally) then i would have thought they'd have had plenty of chance since the 5th of July when they crossed the threshold.

i think you're still over analysing the British comment.....we're in Britain, don't think it's that weird to make reference to British people. Many Europeans find the British approach to be too polite and not saying negative things for fear of causing upset..that's kind of where i was coming from. not that they avoid eye contact to be rude to someone, more they keep their head down and wonder off rather than challenging the preacher to actually back up their rantings.

Claiming that you're "clearly" of foreign parentage and therefore it's racist is quite astounding logic. I mentioned British because we (and i include you here) have a stereotypical reputation for not wanting confrontation and avoiding things that make us feel remotely uncomfortable. So if anything it was self deprecating rather than racist.

on a separate note i'm pleased that you're having a good day in term of your MS........and before you go off on one, that's a genuine statement and not a jibe at you having better typing today. i can't imagine how much of impact a physical condition like that must have on day to day life and wouldn't wish it on anyone.

The positive price move today (on no real news - unless you count Iran and I simply can’t see that getting sorted before the next US election) indicates to me that CC may well be out now

I can easily tell you any trades of any size over a period, just not whether it was a buy or a sell. (Not that anyone knows for sure anyway)

But it makes a nice read. A little movement from Iran could give Trumpy just enough to claim a huge, massive, spectacular victory (he’s very good at negotiating you see. He does the best negotiating). Then we’re back on!! (Clutching at straws?)

8:00 - 11.75.

So I’m relaity the fall today is from 11.75 to 11.625
And yesterday’s fall was 14.00 to 11.75

Same overall impact of a fall from 14 to 11.625 over 2 days, but does make it look like it’s a big fall today when that doesn’t reflect trading. Seems to have scared a few on here for sure.

I was a tad suspicious when he flipped from being pretty adamant that there was a placing coming (back before he bought in) to über ramper....but figured he just like to talk his own book. This latest turn surprises me. I think he’s just a hugely emotional investor.....can’t end well

They have only given the values of a couple of the tech contracts. And that’s when it was in the millions. I don’t believe that any of the recent contracts have been very large.

The KSA announcement was not a contract but a JV so there are contracts to be announced there yet.

Just calm. It will come. The only reason to fear the recent drop is if you’re leveraged. The share price simply doesn’t indicated he likelihood of the deal happening. It’s too sentiment driven and the sentiment is on the ground after years of failure to deliver. Hence it being such a good opportunity.

Nothing really has changed other than a dip in the share price. This is Africa...things take time.

Gay: I don’t think there’s been any change to the process. They always scanned once (the one where the trucks drove through at a slow speed) and then had a second stage for the ones that failed the first scan and needed more intrusive inspection.

The one thing on this that I took from the RNS was that they seem to scan import and export.....so not just incoming containers I guess. To be that’s a positive for the potential revenue levels that could be achieved.
