Double: i give it 2 months before you sell and start bashing this like mad....why would this stock be any different to the rest that you "invest" in? tbh, it's much nicer to have you as a basher than the relentless ramping that just makes genuine investors feel a bit nauseous
Doubleheadedcoin: good summary....very useful for anyone in a cave these last few weeks. Not quit rampy enough for you normally...come on, you can do better....but don't sell and start bashing this please...it's not very gentlemanly.
Mr Coin: ramp ramp ramp...love it. usual MO coming through nicely. just don't sell and start bashing like you normally do, it's just a bit annoying.
I do like the you way you can see a silver lining in anything...whilst you're invested. Have fun annoying the Intu investors
Feeks: afraid I don’t. Have a great memory for the things I remember and a sieve for the things I don’t.
Easy to say now, but at the time I was openly not convinced about Oman...mainly because we’re tiny and only tinpot countries would touch us. Didn’t ever occur to me it would be Iran though.
Off out to plan some DIY
Jim: VAT is chargeable on any products (and services) we sell to within the EU.
They can also furlough (i assume that's what you meant, again very sloppy for a lawyer) their staff if it meant that they don't have to make them redundant...but i doubt that would have a huge impact as i don't think we have all that many UK staff that are not still rather busy.
I wasn't saying that there would be a whole load of support from the UK government, i was just pointing out that his comment on the matter was not tantamount to a confession that the company was going under...as you seemed to believe.
For what it's worth i don't think you're trying to talk down the price (unlike DHC). I just think that you've sold out and are a: embarrassed that you lost money (like the rest of us) on the investment and 2: are now happy to vent after having been so (confidently) bullish.
off out to shave my head
MB: monthly average volumes:
off out to buy a turbo trainer
Feeks: not sure. Tbh I struggle to keep up with all messages on here as actually working longer hours from home than at work.
I’d be surprised if he’s sold out....but I’ll let him confirm or deny that.
Off out to commute to work.
Foxy; my angel of enlightenment: you said there was a reason for everything. I was wondering what the reason for DHC was. I’d argue the reason must be sins of this BB in a past life. It was a dig at him rather than you.
Your negative posting, whilst occasionally repetitive, doesn’t overly concern me as often you make valid points and I have no doubt you own shares.
Off out to face the markets once more.
Jim: come on. You’re better than this.
They’re clearly impacted by Covid-19....so why not out off VAT for a quarter to help with cash?
How can you read that RNS and think that the take away is that they’re failing and need government support??? Can DHC please give back your login.
Off out to get some time away from the market.
What's farcical about Tema? upset that we're getting paid? that the port hasn't been negatively impacted by Covid yet? or are you upset that they haven't signed a contract with Scanport...sorry, another contract.
The market is not exactly in normal times right now...fair amount of dislocation out there. That's why i don't think you'll see 15p until the market returns to come form of normality ....by then the Tema profits should be pouring in and you should be getting over 20p...anyway, each to their own as i said.
Off out to shave my back
Philip: weren't you targeting 20p?
i personally think if we hit 15p then the covid-19 market impact will be largely fading, so you may as well stick to 20p...but each to their own.
another contrary day - markets all red, WSG blue......let's hope there's not a market bounce tomorrow ;-)
off out to shave my head
Mr Coin: i'm not afraid of the low oil price being mentioned.....it's not exactly a secret. I just find it tiresome when you get something stuck in your head. You have a vast array of ramps and dumps ( they are usual the same facts, just spun in an opposite direction) that you could use.
"Oh there will be an impact. Firstly airlines are grounding there planes so have no revenue coming in. The second hit is that there are very few oil companies make any money when the oil price is sub $30 per barrel. No inbound revenues from either flights or to governments off oil profits means no second and third tier associated spending on infrastructure projects and training courses."
have you copied and pasted this from a post on an airline BB? it seem entirely irrelevant...our only airport is closed so oil price is immaterial...plus lower oil price is good for airlines....you seem to be struggling today.
Have you ever heard of government debt? it's what government s use to fund things. Saudi can handle these oil prices for a number of years...they have reserves and access to the government bond market. ..currently at a cost of 3.4% a year for 10 year paper. i think they can afford a million here or there for some scanners
And gulf states don't get their money from oil company profits...they get it from the oil that's under their territories.
Anyway, wouldn't be out or i'll have to "route to dealer", or "fill or kill" or the one i can't remember.
off out to wonder what life is like when you're not a nice person
Foxykiwi: Mr Coin doesn't believe his own words.....he didn't when he was ramping, and he doesn't now he's sold...he over eggs everything to try to move the market (thank god he doesn't have that power). Don't encourage him to go, he keeps me entertained in these difficult times. No matter how bad my portfolio looks, i always know that his is worse.
Off out to do some actual work for a bit
Mr Coin: just let the oil price go....it wasn't mentioned because there is no impact yet. you seem to be the only one hung up on this.
Finally an admission that you've sold...well done, i hope the truth has set you free.
ps. love the bearishness that the company will suffer as the virus gets worse and then bullishness that it will suffer once the curve is flattened and we start to recover....you couldn't make it up. To be fair, when you're so two-faced i guess you'd assume the world was the same.
Off out to troll DHC
Good pumping Mr Coin: have people here realised how you only post to try to benefit your position and it's painful to watch? and when you sell you then post ludicrously bearish comments? You're not subtle they'll realise soon
