Human: Yes good result, but don’t think that it’s RNSable. They said it would be 90days, no reason to think otherwise. (Other than history 😉). There was nothing officially contingent on the elections.

I’m sticking with Gabon, then Tema, then DRC, and Fiji following on.

Gabon elections tomorrow (from memory). Surprised we haven’t had an scaremongering from the usual crew.

Things take time. gabon won’t happen before the 90 day transition period. That’s likely to be our first news. Then we can hope for DRC, Fiji, Malawi et al to come through.

Rifle: that’s a valid point. But if either Gabon or DRC (or the other muted MSCs in Malawi or Fiji) comes on line then the weaker global economy will be irrelevant. Yes it will be harder to win business, but any one of the MSCs will make a mockery of this share price.

We can but wait.

Yrabs: can’t image him publicly stating that he expects DRC to produce less revenue due to the M23 conflict. That would be very odd for a CEO to do….especially one who is still setting up the new contract there.

Interims are always fairly quiet. Suspect he mentions Gabon and “other ongoing MSC discussions” and a fleeting mention of DRC delay.

For me it’s not a major market mover as don’t see him giving us much info we don’t already have.

For me it’s the end of the 90 day period, news on DRC commencing or other new business RNSs that love the market.

So I think we get the first major kicker on the commencement of Gabon (unless the election in mid April gives the market some confidence).

Then the next kickers come if Fiji / Malawi / Ghana come to anything soon, and then obviously DRC is only really upside from here.

I think 2025 will be a great year. But have no insight on timings….but I do have confidence that Gabon will up and running in June / July

Manx: I’d argue the news is already here. The Gabon contract. $5.5m expected revenue in first 12 months.

I bought on the news as it was not priced in (even accounting for the huge dilution). I don’t think we need news. We just need the 90 day transition period to be up.

But maybe people are buying in before next week’s interims.

1H25 results out next Friday. That may give you a hint of the happiness you’re after DrM.

But I think the market needs to hear that money is flowing in from Gabon to really kick on (which is June at the earliest). It might even start to believe in DRC after that…..then we’re really laughing.

But no chickens to be counted quite yet.

As DrM said, the contract was all international airports. They freely admitted that on Kinshasa would be profitable. Why didn’t they just cut all the non-profitable ones??? Because that’s not how business negotiations work.

My understanding of the contract delays was not related to the government. But that was late last year. And I have no way of proving it was correct anyway.

You’ve changed style recently. Used to be more underhand in your style. Always critical but in a more subtle way. It was very clever. Now just openly hostile to WSG.

I think you’ve summed it up perfectly well Ian. The market is sick of years of underachievement and so it’s (understandably) not pricing in DRC. But for me it genuinely feels different this time…the contract has been fully signed and will hopefully soon be bringing in serious revenue at a healthy margin.

I’m entirely ignoring the other MSC until it’s announced.

The £650k recurring revenue contract from October is a blinder. UK client, recurring revenue, decent margin. That has been entirely ignored by the market. But it’s all revenue…and I expect for the next financial year it’s profit too.

It’s been a waiting game for years….but I expect us to look back in a year and kick ourselves for not adding more in the 1ps when we had already signed a $10m + a year contract. (And that’s coming from someone who has added well over 1m shares since the contract was fully signed.
