Vander: if you're going to use quotation marks then use them on words i've actually said.....happy to be corrected if you can show me a post where i call this a screaming buy.
I'm very bullish (incorrectly so far) but i honestly don't think i ramp....again happy to be quoted to show i'm wrong.
Yrabs: could be forwards selling....or it could be people that believe the same as you...that there will be a placing and the shares will tank (further)...so getting out before a loss. I'd be doing that if i thought a 3p (probably sub 3p now) placing was on the horizon.
or they just think that the company is screwed because the whole of Africa is going to lockdown
I don't ascribe to any of the above...so i'm just merrily wait
Win: i don't tend to comment on my trades, but since you asked (not that i'd consider myself a "ramper") i topped up a couple £2k this am, and took £5k earlier in the week @4p (that's obviously in a loss now). i was more than happy to add sub 4p. I may be proven wrong...but that's the excitement of investing in AIM.
Yrabs: in that metaphor you've got them the wrong way round....the 5.7p places are deeper underwater...but that's just me being pedantic.
Anyway, i suspect PF would say that the Arden update has informed the market that they don't need to raise cash
i think we'd be lucky to get 3p as a placing right now...but that's for others to worry about
shalm: i assume you're not invested? no issue with that, still welcome to share you reviews. just interested .
yrabs: i've said this a number of times...sell out. yes you'll crystalise a loss, but if you're so sure of a placing then you can buy back in lower.
Sham: or maybe, just maybe, no raise?
yrabs: i'm "led to believe" by other investors...so don't take it as gospel.
My hope is that what gets ratified doesn't look too much like what was signed in June...i'm hoping that it's materially bigger.
Win: i'm still confident. not in the 21 revenues, i believe i stated that they were not likely to be hit when they were reiterated in August (as even large tech contracts wouldn't have their revenue recognised in time) . But in 2022 i'm confident. and in the £100 that i bet with AH21 that there would be no placing by year end. (not that confident that he has any hope of keeping quite for Jan - unless his parents take his phone away from him)
I'm lead to believe that cash is fine and no reason to think that DRC won't get ratified in the near future. so i'm happy.
but that's not how this board works....when the price go down the bears go wild. when the price goes up it's nothing but bulls shouting about how great this is and £1 parties......this BB is worthless from an investor perspective....hilarious from an entertainment perspective.
sorry to hear GA: best of luck to you
this certainly isn't for everyone these days!!
yrabs: for me a raise changes everything. it crystalises this ludicrous share price and demonstrates hideous management. i still don't think it will happen though...and then we can enjoy a peaceful January
wow: i really didn't see it opening 13% down. not much news as far as I'm concerned in that RNS...just confirming what we all knew about H2 revenues.
The negative to me is that it would imply ratification is not imminent, or they would have delayed this RNS, or just had it confirming CAR with no other update.
Anyhoo, 4p, 3p, 6p..not bothered for now, i'm here for double digits next year
Vander: “afford WSG” in what sense? The whole business model is that the passengers pay.
You’re not wilfully misinterpreting again are you??? You cheeky scamp.
You’re quite prolific currently. It’s good to see. All the best
OT: i see this as being better than if it were about DRC (more new business is always welcome)
but then I'm happy that DRC will come good, and I'm not in need of a ratification pop to sell out.
ideally it will take a little time and get signed in 1Q22 or 2Q22, by which time the share price will hopefully reflect the value of the existing contracts a little better.
Yrabs: I’m fairly certain than the £15m will be massively missed…I was shocked that he said back in September (or was is august?) that he still thought it was possible.
But I’m all about 2022. That said, if 21’s fabled Xmas raise comes then it all changes. I’ll be out.
yrabs: companies don't and shouldn't respond to every rumour. think back to bullish yrabs in the summer, would he have been so demanding?
yes the information vacuum is annoying, but you can't comment on every ongoing negotiation. if people choose to invest based on online articles then they're welcome to
yrabs: you know as well as i do that he (nor any CEO) is going to publish to the market that they're in advanced talks...that's just day to day business. you know how much grief he gets for the announcements of actual contracts that he's made, why mention a "possibly, maybe, if we're lucky" negotiation? he'll wait until there's something material to notify us of...and then we can wait a couple of years for that to come to fruition ;-)
Good to see the BB is being it’s usually helpful self.
On Vander I have to disagree with H&N. Vander is one of the smartest of the bears…as he often dresses his comments up as neutral or balanced. He skillfully posts “facts” that often sound compelling but don’t hold up under scrutiny.
Anyway, each to their own. I only use this BB for entertainment. It hasn’t produced anything interesting for a couple of years. So I’m content.
Perfect. The rest of you can thank me in January ;-).
21: fancy a bet?
I bet there will be no raise this side of Christmas.
If there is a raise I’ll give you £100 (or donate it to a charity of your choice)
If there is no raise then you have to not post on this BB for the whole of January 2022.
Sound fair?
my glass half full take is that dividends don't happen because of the business model. we need lots of capital to set up new MSCs, and winning them should lead to winning more. thus, i don't think that there will be spare cash any time soon for dividends.
If, and it's an almighty if, the Iran deal came back on line then that would require a chunky amount of cash to get it set up. hopefully by then DRC and others will be throwing off cash.
but i couldn't give a monkey's about dividends....i just want the share price up
