My hope is that after the Tem news they will be able to do a trading update to put guidance into into the market and confirm profitability.

Then Malawi and/or DRC news can turbo charge H2.

Ian: I think we’ll get a Tema update first.

Yrabs: every trade is a sale and a purchase. It’s just weather it’s above or below mid. What matters is the price…..which is up…..a bit. But waiting is that bit easier now that we’re profitable.

But I am a very happy bunny. I still think it’s the next contract (Tema??) that will start the SP move. That could be the tipping point where confidence returns.

Yrabs: how’s about this. If there is a positive RNS next week on Gabon…ie if they actually stick to their 90 days (give or take a few days)…then I’ll give £150 to a charity of your choice.

Yrabs: I assume 90 days because it’s a proxy for 3 months. Which seems like a sensible number to me.

Ian: I can see them being frustrated re DRC, but they went in eyes wide open when funding Gabon (ie they’d been in long enough to know the history and risks).

I’m hanging my hopes on the fact that WSG said they already had “all the required processes and approvals in place ahead of singing”.

So I’m feeling confident that we get some revenues flowing shortly after the 90 days is up. 🤞

I was working on the basis that the 90 days ends on 3rd June. But I’d be very surprised if they started that day….this is Africa after all.

But I don’t expect the SP to price any more of Gabon in until we hear details of cash rolling in. History is not in our side.

Yrabs: think you’ll be tempted to buy in/when they announce the start? Can’t see the shares pricing it in fully at first….skepticism will remain….so could be an opportunity for you.

Vander: my posting frequency depends on the toxicity of this BB. You’ll find me almost silent on the day Gabon starts and all the newbie ramper nutcases arrive and start talking about a guaranteed 10 bagger

Equally when it’s just a boring rinse and repeat of insults I tend to stay clear.

Overall I’d say I rarely post these days….with the exception of Mike, no one really adds anything of value. . (Myself included)

Vander: very categorical language there for fundamentally just you guessing.

I see DRC and Gabon as being a single large site, and a few add ons that are only there as a way to win the contract. Ie all the profit is in the main international airport. The others will generally be loss leading, because they’re so small (therefore few staff).

Not sure why DRC isn’t a realistic opportunity? Or Tema? Or Fiji?

Ian: to me that would seem sensible. But the discount for disappointment will stay for a bit longer I fear. Plus it will take a while to shake out the holders and get in investors who want to own the “post new company” ie not here for the kick on news. A profitable company will allow actual analysis rather than hoping a contract comes off.

I’d say it will struggle to settle above 10p this year (on those 3 bits of news). But I hope I’m being overly pessimistic. I just feel the level of distrust may require the actual profit to be seen in the full year numbers.

Plus it obviously depends on any need for any more dilution to fund Tema and DRC.

I still see the risk reward here as hugely asymmetric to the upside. And I’m wanting way more than 10p for my shares.

Thanks Mike. You’d hope that if we get reappointed then the set up costs would be minimal…..given that it’s set up already. But you never know.

Incidentally I’m loving the 25% bid-offer spread. 😳

Yrabs: I suspect it’s what’s Misty would call a hopeful headbutt of the keyboard.

Maybe people were worried about the elections….been a little bit of upward movement since.

Take away the history and you’ve got a a chance to buy in to a company that has just signed a new contract with initial annual revenues of half the current market cap.

Don’t get me wrong, with the history I entirely understand why the market is where it is. But it does mean that there is potentially a great opportunity here……if you’re new to the stock and haven’t done much DD beyond the last 3 months!!
