RE: Late5 Aug 2021 21:30
I've read news articles in the FT, on II, in Moneyweek, and I think erm other places about the opportunity for tin.
I think the "Tin PR" is driving interest. That and if one looks at the tin price today: $36,475. Futures: 3 month - $34,678 and 15 month $31,668. Even at the lower $31k that's serious amounts of profit for ATM. See my recent posting where I posited an average price of $33k this year would mean this share is already at a PE of 9 and next year's higher run rate it moves to something daft like PE of 3.5.
Then you twig that Tantalum is $400,000 a tonne and Lithium is $80,000 a tonne and that there's lots of Lithium and relatively lots of Tantalum. Then you think - wow. The "by products" are potentially worth more than the tin.
Tinnies all round. GLA.
