Wyndrum posted a link the other week to a piece entitled “Ten signs that your company may be about to be taken over.” I must admit that I read it and thought there were a few matches.
What I want to hear is some reassurance that whoever is validating LFTs in future will not be using frozen pig spit - especially after Orphidian’s explanation yesterday about how it would have affected the performance of both Mologic and Avacta.
The only mention made of Porton Down failure was in February’s RNS in response to the Huff Post article. In it, we were told:
The press report this weekend incorrectly stated that a saliva-based rapid antigen test from Avacta had been evaluated at Porton Down. In fact, the evaluated test was the anterior nasal swab test that has subsequently generated the excellent initial clinical performance data outlined above. However, in its evaluation Porton Down used artificial samples and did not use clinical samples.
Does everyone agree that - in plain words - this means that we failed? What I don’t understand is why - instead of ‘engaging with the process’ AS hasn’t been more vocal. Why haven’t we threatened to sue the Government like Mologic did?
At the very least, we deserve to be told whether frozen pig spit sampling is off the agenda when the new, more rigorous testing process comes into effect. This is so essential to our prospects with this share that we deserve to be kept informed.
You raise a good point PLS. After Orphidian’s explanation yesterday about the flaws in Porton Down’s test validation procedures, I would be onto that big time if I were an investigative journalist. Frozen pig spit has caused us to flood the U.K. market with a test that only picks up 50% of the asymptomatic cases that it is supposed to discover. Mologic threatens to take U.K. Gov to court for stonewalling, but within a week it’s sold and silenced. Nothing to see here.
Sorry, yes, I forgot - Lack of urgency to develop/investigate treatments (Synairgen, Ivermectin, etc) as these would render EUA of vaccine null and void.
Where we are at - Chaotic travel plans and fear of a ping mean that parents are keeping schoolkids at home to avoid disruption to holiday plans - Kids who just fancy time off school are using fanta etc to get a false positive, leading to more unneccessary pinging - Innova tests throw up huge numbers of false negatives, meaning the infetious carry on spreading - PCR is set at an unknown CT level which could be generating false positives (more pinging) - One in five now deleting T&T App - Easy to forge NHS negative test result on smart phones - £37bn spent so far on Test & Trace - Han**** and Harding vanished without trace (should both face prosecution) - Porton Down using frozen samples to validate LFTs (Not permitted by FDA) - MHRA accepting vast amounts of money from Gates foundation to do work that is not central to their role - MHRA approves Innova for home use on asymptomatic against manufacturers instructions - Mologic threatens to take UK Gov to court and is suddenly acquired by friendly philanthropist - Mandatory vaccination mooted - Pregnant and women of child-bearing age being strong-armed into taking vaccine - despite no long-term studies to prove that there's no effect on fertility. - Total media black-out regarding the existence of 'green light' tests that could have been much more effective in the Test & Trace effort Have I missed anything?
That’s a hugely important finding!22 Jul 2021 08:36
Results: 82.4% of AABs reactivity was associated with being male compared to 17.6% with female. We found a diversity of AABs responses that exhibited sex-specific patterns of frequency distribution as well as associations with symptomatology and symptom burden.
My suspicion is that PD process is not fit for purpose. 14 tests approved in the last two months is (hopefully) their swan song. Something very dodgy has been going on here and AS has been trying to call it out. The Mologic court case would have been interesting but of course that’s been conveniently put to bed due to Gates/Soros takeover.
