Generally speaking most companies share prices drop by a few % before recovering over the next few days (in a stable market, volatility aside)

Halifax blocking EVR trades?

My funds are now fluid but I can’t transfer into Halifax , have they put a block on me transferring in? I transferred in fine yesterday. I want to buy a last couple of trades before ex date

The share price won’t be 24p after dividend… I’m a newbie but even I know the payment date is 30/03 so by then it will either be recovering or we will be in deep **** by then. Either way it won’t be 60p and 24p after dividend.
The 30/03 is a long way off with a rapidly changing picture over the war.

I know the sp is doing well in America , but are people getting ahead of themselves expecting a fast turn around to well over £1 tomorrow , or any time soon? Even if it does go over that I see it dropping back soon after. The fundamentals are good but the sentiment over war hasn’t changed and as said below, sentiment and sanctions won’t change for a long time. To me this is a cheap stock but requires long term hold to see great returns.
I’m in and going to buy more but not expecting a windfall over night.

I’ve found my trades go through at the 80p range. Only managed one trade at 60p and when I could get at it at 52p my funds hadn’t cleared into my bank.

Hoping to top up tomorrow in the 70-85p range.

Hello everyone. I reported earlier today that I intended to buy more shares tomorrow when my funds clear. I shall be putting through a cheeky little order after the stroke of midnight. I am delighted the share price took a temporary little tumble at close, as this gives my NT chance to go through at a reasonable price in the morning, when the corrupt MM have had their morning fill.

Top up chaps! I shall be topping up, hoarding , possessing, ready to suckle on the teet of corporate success!

Just bought a few grand more of these this morning. Out of funds now until tomorrow. If they remain around 70-80p by then I’ll buy more. Loading up for the long term and will reinvest my dividend if still low by end of March.

Can’t see these going back to £3 any time soon, it was at £3 before the unrest. Even if there’s a form of cease fire there will be all sorts of volatility for a couple years. That said I still think it’s a great buy and will be buying more this week if continues to be priced around 60-80p or lower.

What’s the likelihood I can pick up more of these on Monday morning at 60p?
