What would you reinvest into?

Trades yesterday two sales 2.5m??

The only reason I am commenting on here is because I was able to buy in on this dip. Before that I wasn’t in.

At my age I can afford to wait for better share prices to accumulate more. I’m not too concerned with share price at a young age I want plenty divi income . So I just reinvest divi when low or take as profit when over £2.

To accumulate more shares and more divis it’s best to only buy when Bt are low. I don’t buy Bt for a return to £5 per share . As you said they’re unpredictable. Could hit £5 but equally could languish for the next 5 years the way they did the last 5.

If you’re able to risk leaving your cash in here , it could go down but is undervalued so will go back up to 170 without issue. Personally I will hold until 200p and take reasonable divis until then. Whether that’s a year or 5

This is why I am not investing further. I have a shed load of Bt shares already and at 150p or lower they are worth adding , but any higher you’re getting less shares and dividends, and when Bt does inevitably drop it takes it a long time to recover. At this price point there’s a lot of waiting to do to get back to 190p so your moneys locked in while you get average dividends.

Yes I am convinced Bt will go to £3.50-4 by 2025 and probably 220-240p in the next 12 months.
But that isn’t enough of a case for me to increase when I have a large holding and there are probably better shares elsewhere now considering current Bt sp

What price are you expecting Bt to get to Pete, that makes 193p look attractive?

Black rock buying in was a very big signal .

They increased their holdings in a couple other stocks I own ahead of a spike in share price.

Strike will definitely go through successful. Workers are fuming with Bt . Trust me. When the ballot is in Bt will make a revised offer and it will be accepted by CWU . But it won’t be much more.

At the end of last year I watching every day bt drop , when it hit 135p I said to myself I’ll top up £5000 if it hits 130p.

135p was the bottom.. and it quickly rose.

Missed it. Haven’t and won’t top up again.

Shifted my Poly into isa just now, bed and isa

One of my concerns investing in evraz was that if a suspension occurred, investment talk would eventually turn into a ghost town and peoples hopes would dissipate.

This board has begun that.

No matter the factual or informative posts , I feel my investment is locked and there is no end in sight.

I try to remain positive that things will come good, cold to fruition for me, and for all who posted informative stuff this last month or two.

I kept buying all the way from 126-300

Bt can afford pay rises.

They want to reduce the salaries of old contract grades , giving their reduction to the lower paid employees.
Reducesz wage bill and makes it seem like a payrise was given but only 1/2 the work force get one. The rest get a real terms pay cut whils bt increase prices.

The strategy is reduce wages to use it on dividend increases , and see the share price rise.

This is a share you buy in dips to hold. It’s guaranteed to be worth £4 by 2025.

Drahi didn’t invest for no reason and Philip Jansen isn’t cut throat for the fun of it.

Cwu want an across the board offer , but to get that and lower paid employees not lose out compared to this offer, the pay rise would have to be 6% or more.

Can’t see Bt agreeing to that. They played a blinder in trying to shaft employees on higher wages by offering a flat rate as the younger employees won’t vote against a good pay rise for them.

Make no mistake bt employees do deserve a good payrise, they only got 1.5% over the past two years combined and a bung of £1000.

The wages heavily declined last decade too.

Wouldn’t be too harsh on yourself Jeremy , most of that list applies to me. Drink, mood swings etc. this is why I’ve only bought a 4500 shares.

I think it will be fine. You only bought what you can live without . So that means even if it drops and you’re stuck, long term it’s only going to go up.

Jeremyruttl if this poly works out or crashes I’ll have you to thank or blame. Been reading your posts the last week or two and most of your thoughts are what I was thinking and I kept buying more as a result. Average is about 190 , bought a few batches in the 120-170 ranges.

If this fails I won’t regret. I had good intentions with my investment choice. Good luck everyone.
