Spotted that last night schlemiel - RIO have upped their spend on Citadel from $2M to $9.2M.

I think it is closer to their WINU discovery that is but shows how the ante is being raised in the Paterson now.

I only first made contact with the guy yesterday when he asked if I would like to help contribute anything to his piece. I don't know the man from Adam but he has obviously put a lot of time and effort into preparing his presentation and TBF I think he did an excellent job.

He wasn't rampy or pessimistic - presented the facts and his valuations on NPV are made using realistic & historical figures.

As you say - it's a great introduction to Greatland for anyone who is new to the share.

Darby - look at the tables in the video - that was allowing for a reserve of 5Moz. We are way above that - he said that was his conservative estimation.

Newcrest also continued to expand drilling at the Havieron project in Western Australia, which demonstrated the continuity of high grade mineralisation.
The company plans to drill a further 20,000 metres to support the delivery of a maiden resource estimate in the second half of this year.

Even if there is a dip after these results the next set of interims from Newcrest will be mid-June, more lovely step-out drill holes to be reported as well as lots & lots of infill towards the MRE.
That's aside from any left field news from GH about Scallywag, Tasmania, maybe even the Panorama prospect.

There are lots of potential triggers to sustain the SP growth.

Be absolutely mad to sell any before results - they are gonna be stunning IMO. Newcrest have not been peppering the SW corner where the high grade breccia was found in HAD042 for no reason.
The evidence is there - open your eyes and see it for yourselves people.

It always amazes me that all these people could easily have bought in the low 7's yesterday and as soon as we break 8p the buys start to fly in.

Bertslad - Havieron was picked first because that was the one that had historical drill and survey data that showed Newcrest already thought there was a BIG deposit there from their exploration in the 90's.

Scallywag has great potential - Newcrest also drill tested this area in the 90's but the drill rig wasn't the right type and after failing to hit the basement rocks after 4 attempts they basically gave up.
