Hi Stu - my guess is they have been knocking in the pre-collar holes with the RC rig to the basement ready for when the DD drills are ready to drop on them. The black sump pits are plastic liners to hold the water they need for the diamond drilling.

The sump that appeared in the centre today appeared on a drill pad that was prepared over 3 weeks ago so I'm hoping this is the same situation in the far SW corner.

Just my thoughts though - Paddy

No idea James TBF - there's no sign of any activity in the area they were spotted.

Maybe some GEO's out in the cool of the night collecting soil samples for geochemical analysis. They might need to rebuild the camp a couple of miles further away :-)

schlemiel - that's what I think mate but I think the dark, cloudy night somewhat dulled the brightness from some of the pads.

Just overlaid the Sentinel 1 & 2 images from this morning - not conclusive proof but it looks very likely to me that there are 10 sets of lights positioned where we know there are drill pads from the day image.

Agreed Jerry 100% - this could literally be a one in a lifetime chance and anyone who has done any meaningful research will fancy their chances here.
Nothing is 100% guaranteed but the evidence is stacking up nicely here - there are obviously plenty who will be happy to see a takeover and bank their profits - I want to be banking mine for the next 30 years.

Raw data is in for the daytime image, a bit cloudy so not the clearest today - the 2 near the camp on the night-time sat look like vehicles just on the road.

New drill=pad in the far NE - where we saw the pads being prepared last week.

I've just had a quick look at the image - I'm excited about those 2 up near the camp. They could be targeting that SW area from the other direction. There does seem to me to a lot of lights (fainter) in the field area still - I wonder if cloud cover might cause the lights to be not as brilliant.

Lets hope for a cloudless area when the other satellite passes over - it will already be shot - just waiting for it to be precessed.

Guys please enough with the bickering - we all have (hopefully) the same goal here - to get the best possible outcome for the shareholders. The difference between 11p & 30p would mean a lot to my family also so anything ANYONE can do to make that happen will be gratefully accepted by me (with a pinch of salt of course)

We are in a pretty strong position here IMO - NCM are desperate to get the high grade ore into Telfer asap. They will probably start a stoping operation on the high grade in the SW corner while at the same time putting in the bulk mine infrastructure for the block cave to follow on.

The stoping operation would start from the top of the ore-body so in theory if they sink the exploration decline they will be using that to extract the ore. They could in all probability be hauling ore from Havieron with 18 months. They will want a conclusion to this more than we will. Remember if Havieron does go on to be bigger than Kalgoorlie (BIG IF) then regardless of how big it becomes NCM will have picked up 70% of it for $65M. That will prove to be the business deal of the century for Sandeep.
OK they carried the risk with the drilling but in reality they already had a good idea of what was there and HAD001 & HAD005 just confirmed it for them. Really for NCM it was a no-brainer.

I agree we all need to bite the bullet and hold tight now - f**k me I held every share after Newmont walked and averaged down at 0.55p so this is the easiest hold of my life - I'm waiting for true value - Paddy

Agreed Stephen - they know exactly what they have as soon as it comes out of the ground, that's what makes the concentrated drilling in the 'new' SW zone so exciting IMO. Something is definitely brewing - Newcrest will have to lay a lot of information on the table in order to be able to get a take-over through - we should be able to get access to all that they already know before approving any deal - IMO it's not going to happen unless there is a substantial premium and maybe even a royalty sweetner.
