Just logged back on - OMG looks like I've missed quite a party. NCM usually release reports between 8.30 and 9.00am Melbourne time so that will be in roughly an hours time.
Well they look like buys to me - the 10:30 one was @9.25p when the bid was 8.8p & the offer was 9.2p the 14:49 one was @9.0p when the bid was 8.7p & the offer was 9.1p
Anyone in doubt as to what's happened and where we are going just try this little exercise. Click on both the links below. This will open up 2 tabs in your browser of the satellite images. The first one is from early December - the second one is the last clear day that we had this month - the 15th.
HIghlight the first tab and then press "Ctrl" & "pg dn" to open the second tab. You can flick between the two images up the "Ctrl button and alternating between the pg up & pg dn buttons.
This gives you a real good idea of how much work they have completed in the last 4.5 months (including the Christmas break) and how quick they are moving at Havieron.
Bellers, I don't know about anyone else but I'm sitting on a rather large profit that if I sold up now would see me be debt free (mortgage included) and have a nice wad in my pension but notwithstanding that this is the easiest hold for me ever. My as5e is very relaxed - Paddy
I sat and watched it that - totally transfixed by it all, struggled to take it in and was very tempted to cut my losses.
When I heard the interview that Gervaise did with AS you could almost hear the hurt in his voice and there was something about his demeanour that convinced me to hold on and average down. That year was a tough year to take - there were some days when there were literally 1 or 2 posts on here but we saw it out and as they say the rest (up to now) is history and I am happy to sit it out while more pages are written in the history books.
Tick tock - 3.5 hours and counting to market close, time to decide campers - Paddy
The whole of the Havieron area would have already had the appropriate clearances prior to starting drilling.
This heritage clearances consists of taking one of the elders from the local Martu people to the proposed drill sites where they check to see if there are any culturally relevant sites/artefacts that might be damaged or disturbed during the works.
I think it is just a matter of form but it's a tick in the box they need to complete before drilling can preceed.
There might be an easing of social distancing in WA that may may this possible but I think they will be very wary of doing anything that may jeopardise or cause any issues with the indigenous folks.
Catchme - I didn't see your reply yesterday sorry,
The timetable at Scallywag has been curtailed due to the CV-19 situation. We should have carried out an AEM survey at the start of April and we should be drilling it about now. There are restrictions on gaining heritage clearances with the local Martu people and until those are lifted Scallywag has been put on ice.
There is no farm-in, JV or other arrangement on Scallywag at present so GGP will be initially drilling it themselves. If they do find something then they can go and negotiate with anyone they like but they must give Newcrest first refusal (If Newcrest are prepared to match or better any offer then GGP must deal with them again).
Just put a quick tweet out to highlight the amount of drilling they have done in the SW corner that we haven't even seen yet - remember that's where HAD042 (circled in red) found the high grade breccia. We've only had results from the top of HAD042 to date and look how much more they have done in that area since.
greedo - that's a different Lough Derg. That one is up somewhere in Northern Ireland. My Mum has done it a few times but I've given it a miss. I've climbed to the top of Croagh Patrick a coupe of times though (I didn't do it in my bare feet) Paddy
