RE: Shopify Mirriad VPP ????17 Dec 2024 11:11
Could also be something to do with this I have posted about Mirriad and Roku in the recent past LOTM and have proof of a close relationship
On the other hand, platforms such as Roku are already armed with user data and payment information and are leveraging this to further reduce purchasing friction. Roku announced a first-of-its-kind partnership with Shopify, that it can enable viewers to buy products directly from their TVs with the simple click of a button, integrating Roku Pay for a smooth transaction and immediate return to their streams

Shopify are big MSFT Azure users
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/data-factory/connector-shopify?tabs=data-factory
if you look back at the MSFT Mirriad RNS from last year LOTM it states this LOTM
The Company's new Application Programming Interface (API) is a first release within the collaboration with Microsoft. The resulting interoperability with Mirriad's Fusion technology, which enables dynamic insertions by media partners, is able to support high volumes of real-time data exchange.
In practical terms, this enhanced connectivity between media partners and the wider adtech ecosystem is designed to increase the potential scale of the programmatic advertising opportunity.
Mirriad integrates Microsoft Azure API Management to drive this new functionality and support Mirriad's ability to further integrate with complementary Azure services, quickly and securely building new scalable solutions.
Mirriad will also work with Microsoft on technical briefings and closely align on product roadmaps to exploit the opportunities of the collaboration.
Now if all of Shopify customers could seamlessly programmaticly bid on and once winning integrate their products and offer on say Roku's home screen the images and offers with Roku Pays integration with Shopify earlier this year to make the transaction happen it fits with the metadata part of the Mirriad MSFT RNS that actually makes sense to me as well
