I agree Adon best outfit in the world to doing the drilling. Might see a few people loading up now or closing shorts, success will be a game changer. Long overdue! Thursday or Friday we should have a clearer picture.

Glad to here I'm completely wrong there!
Agreed Renndava. Hopefully everything in place for mobile processing - the refurbishment of existing facility is a bit of a non starter for me..
The dominion pipeline is fully operational now so we have a route to market once we get our processing facility/a mobile processing facility in place. I have a feeling they will have everything ready to pull the trigger on that once testing is complete. that could see first production in Q4 imho.
Does the RNS of 15/12/23 not say that the dominion pipeline is complete. Q4 2023?
From the top of my head, which means I could be completely wrong,Dominion pipeline wont be completed until Q4?
Yes indeed re the gas flaring.I thought they had tight constraints on the amount they were permitted to flare?
Thanks Renndava - but I am interested in initial GOR and hence how much gas cap (if any) needs to be removed to get to sustainable longer term rates. Appreciate the equipment failures encountered but not entirely convinced the initial gas pressures were as anticipated on initial drill. Was there not enough over balance pressure or else losses too great that lead to requirement for BOP operation etc. Not trying to go over old ground but really interested to see initial gas rates given we still don’t have fully available gas route (unless I missed that). As a “responsible” operator how much initial flaring is acceptable?
Not in any way a criticism, rather me looking towards how long it could take to actually generate OPEX back.
Good point re increased condensate rates..
Oilworker - it was quoted in the TP research note that fluid mix is likely to be similar to 16-2 but with a higher % of gas condensate which i believe sells at a premium to WTI?
Malbrad, open a blank email type, type/edit your response there, copy the text, then go to the LSE message board and paste your complete message in one go, avoiding the pop-ups interfering.. This may help I hope.
My belief is we would have done info in first couple of weeks. At mimimum initial pressure and some short term flow rates before full extended test. IMHO this is likely to be heavily gas biased given pressures encountered on initial drill and will need a longer test phase to better understand operational GOR and sustainable flow rates.
Only a stab in the dark though…
Looking back at the past RNS from 2023. It would appear that this is not likely to be the case. The previous well(16-2) was in retrospect detailed re choke etc.
Many thanks to posters for responding but how do I disable the pop ups for a few minutes whilst I do a posting.
Answer. I appreciate they will have an extended test to give an indication of sustainable production however my question is do people also think they will provide an initial production over a few days on a certain choke - just as a rough guideline before they proceed with the extended test?

4-6 weeks was quoted last time for the actual test phase. They obviously need to get the workover rig contract in place but they’ll know exactly what is needed from the last time so it could be about 8-10 weeks worst case from now i would expect.
Due to safety concerns I would think after the problems we had with the first well, that answer is an unknown.
Obviously everybody will be happy just knowing it is flowing.
Fingers crossed.
Have a great day.
How long to wait for the flow rates...6 weeks?
I agree Adon. Dont envisage any issues with drilling this time. Lets see how it flows 👌🏻
I doubt it will see 7p again before any good news, but it may see 6p, which is my exit. hopefully it will build up towards the end of the week, but the market, having been here before, may well be restrained. as ever GLA
Yes and still waiting on that one lol

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’m actually looking forward to seeing Colin’s ‘pearly whites’ when he delivers the good news we are all
waiting for. I’m sure Colin is looking forward to another of his flirtatious interviews with Kate xx
Don't think the drill will be a problem. It is those testing numbers I want to see.
Not too long to see if Colin can finally turn up a big drill result, gla
Ref VPN and the popups. I use SurfShark (about £1.50/month only on a 2 year contract). Well worth the money. None are full proof but they have a thing called CleanWeb and it certainly cleans out the ads. I still get the "large message" but as you say just click "x" . Very useful travelling too as I spend a few months in Turkey every year ad I just log on to BBC/ITV/CH4, 5 etc easily. Very useful for catching up. ok. end of VPN lesson. Might be helpful.
I think it must have something to do with either my laptop or VPN settings. I suspect the latter as I have recently started using Express VPN. Not much help I'm afraid. I just know it works
