6000 ft as of 14 May. Looks like slightly ahead of schedule and could get news end of next week. GLA. It’s getting exciting.
It would but surely that would benefit the mms
It's an interesting thought. There'll be funds that would become able to invest in this stock over £100m which would give the share price a nice boost.
Why would it be?
… just below the £100m M/c. Being managed?
Adon is your man for pipeline / production knowledge.
Got me some dry gunpowder when good news comes. Gonna start firing when we hit !!
Agree Setanta - we are 2/3 through a drill that we know the expected striations of as its a sister to an existing drill not many yards away. That must significantly de-risk the outcome and expectation of difficulties prior to the big Kicker that is also known. Equally it should not be a duster on the same basis and expectation (mine at least) is that it will be high pressure leading to good hydrocarbon flows - this is all good and I would have thought lure in more punters.
What I have lost sight of is the next steps. Assuming a successful drill, we would presumably test for 2 weeks (?). What is likely to be the best way to producing from there? Do we need to revamp our gas infrastructure or do we attach to pipeline after some on site shenanigans (technical word used by cost accountants to cover activities of on-site experts).
Whilst we wait, if someone has a view on the next steps to get to production (on an assumptive basis) I would be very grateful.
.... that this is on the cusp of a major success. A million shares traded in half a day and we're within a week or so of what might be a huge upwards share price movement. Not many punters making significant purchases these days!
My guess it will come on successfull TD or at the latest flow test.
the gamble is to buy now and hope there is not anouther blow out.
Given the quality of the drill crew that could be the best way forward
Really! How much did that cost you!
10p and you're a millionaire
For additional comfort RB. I have accumulated north of 10ml shrs here. Granted not on borrowed money but it's a big punt. I'm too old to look for "life changing" but supremely confident of a forthcoming significant boost to fun money!
Thanks guys yes very stupid I know I should know better but I don't! Molotov yes home improvement loans always come in handy!
Holy Moley RB,
I hope you are taking some profits as we go forward. I thought I was fully vested for my own sake in this coming good, but your position has doubled down my hopes and belief for this share. I was rooting for you anyhow by proxy, now I am even moreso - one of us loosening the shackles of everyday life is certainly a goal I can support!
Good Luck RB and good luck to all!
Jesus RB how many shares you got?Good luck to you mate
Risky, as an ex-financial adviser, I bet you didn't tell the bank what you were using the money for!! LOL!! The old 'home improvements' comes in handy. I once worked with a guy who was telling me his parents paid his mortgage off, but they went direct to the lender to do it. I thought that was a bit strange, until in his next sentence, he said after they paid his mortgage off, he then went back to the bank, re-mortgaged and bought a BMW !! LOL! I wouldnt recommend it, but good luck...at least Zephyr has the non-op stuff generating cash.
Balls of steel !!.......and i really hope it pays off for you
TBH I have remortgaged and rolled the dice on this one totally stupid I know but wanted a life changer so half in here over the last two months and half bitcoin

100% agree. Albeit i can never understand that we are in 2024 & wells have getting drilled all over the world for 120 odd years on land & sea, we can go the moon and beyond & yet as with the 1st drill, it was a feck up!. Its a bit like going into battle in a Balsa Wood tank, when you should be in a Tiger Tank with 8 inch thick steel shell. Common sense really, or you would think it is.
Yes and my buy marked as a sell at 5.597
RB1 - shows as a Buy on the other site. Nice one. Keep the faith. Nearly there.
I would expect another 'kick' when they hit the hydrocarbons.
The previous failure was at the beginning of Testing. The safety valve was opened. It was the pressure from flow that ruptured pipe. To protect this, they attempted to close the safety valve, which failed. Secondary protection is the BOP which due to the high pressures failed to crimp the pipe. The pipe, as we know, eventually buckled on itself and caused all the clear out problems. Hence the need to redrill the well.
They will have learned from this and spec'd the equipment accordingly. They have also refined the drill method slightly even though they are still following the same previous well path. They also know when the intersection of hydrocarbons will occur.
Some companies talk about certain events being transformational. I think if they succeed with this drill and have a good production test then this will be one of those events. Further if they can retain this drilling team and fit then repeat the process and grow. Hoping the next few months to really well. Increased production and revenue will increase/widen their options and allow them to grow more quickly.
First things first though.
