It's not an increase in the overall resource, but moving a biggish chunk of the 'indicated' into 'measured'. So increasing the margin of certainty. Which is good news. The bit that struck me was: "The Project now has sufficient material in Measured category alone to support over 20 years of production. This is a major milestone as it further de-risks the resource and adds a higher level of confidence in the detailed mine plan, which is key to future financing plans."
221% increase without the previous mentioned 440% increase its origianaly over 1110% bigger..
In measured resource should have said!
Wow!

Yes I could sell my holding 6k shares quoted 11.35 when ask was 11.5 there is demand to buy .
Nothing too exiting but if get backing may climb rapidly. Noticed 200k blocks buying for weeks now so who knows ?there was 445% rise in estimate resources so with not too many lithium projects in Europe there is hope .Let's see if shortlisted under CMRL but looks stuck on 12p level.

15p before end of week, hopefully in the next day.
Zinnwald Lithium GmbH intends to realise one of the largest lithium mining projects in Europe at Altenberg by about 2030. An underminent mine is to be built to mine Zinnwaldite. The mined ore is then refined to produce lithium hydroxide monohydrate (LiOH) in battery quality as well as various by-products. The company's goal is to extract and process lithium for about 600,000 car batteries per year.
The funds from the federal government and the free state should not only support the settlement of the companies, but also contribute to increasing the sustainability of the projects. For example, the local burden on citizens in Altenberg and the surrounding area is to be reduced by avoiding transport and debus. In the next steps, the companies are invited to apply and have to go through the regular approval procedures, which then answer questions about detailed planning.

Saxony creates conditions for the development of the future battery industry in the Free State
06/04/2024, 3:03 pm - First publication (current)
Minister of Economic Affairs Dulig: "The development of own production capacities in Europe is of strategic importance. The Free State and companies want to walk the way together with the local citizens."
The Ministry of Economic Affairs (SMWA) presented today in the Saxon cabinet the intended promotion of the TCTF battery cell production projects of Zinnwald Lithium GmbH and Group14 Silane GmbH. The SMWA was commissioned by the cabinet to conclude the necessary administrative agreements with the Federal Ministry of Economics (BMWK) - subject to the approval of the Budget Committee of the Saxon State Parliament. These agreements are the decisive basis for establishing both lithium mining and the production of battery materials for the next generation of lithium-ion batteries in Saxony. In this way, Saxony can benefit from the entire value chain.
Investments of more than 800 million euros together are planned. A total of at least 550 jobs are to be created. Minister of Economic Affairs Martin Dulig, who was represented in the cabinet of State Thomas Kralinski today, says: "These projects address two strategic aspects of the European battery value chain directly from Saxony: on the one hand, the independence from Chinese battery raw materials, in particular lithium and graphite, and on the other hand, the increase in the performance of batteries. Saxon companies will thus contribute to making the mobility of the future more affordable, comfortable and environmentally friendly."
The projects of Zinnwald Lithium GmbH and Group14 Silane GmbH are to be funded. Funding is based on the Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework (TCTF for short), a temporary funding instrument of the EU, to promote the production of climate-neutral, strategically important technologies - e.g. Batteries, heat pumps and electrolysers - to be anchored in Europe at an early stage and thus avoid one-sided dependencies.
The federal government will contribute 70 percent, the Free State 30 percent of the funding. In total, around 50 million euros in funding are to be provided by Saxony. This support offers investors the necessary security to invest in these future technologies here in the Free State and thus create sustainable jobs.
Group14 Silane GmbH is a subsidiary of the US Group14 Technologies Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of advanced silicon battery materials. These ensure better performance in batteries for electric vehicles and many other battery-powered devices. The company is planning to build a factory to produce the silicon battery materials on site. It will join the already existing monosilane production plant at the Schwarze Pumpe Industrial Park. The aim is to ensure a sustainable battery supply chain in the EU.
15p by end of the weeks

445% increase in resource estimate announced in Feb and now the Government are obviously sniffing around.
800 million to be made available and looks like will only be two recipients of this cash and one is ZNWD.
Saxony Government Support for the Zinnwald Lithium Project
Zinnwald Lithium Plc (AIM:ZNWD) is pleased to note that this morning the Cabinet of the State of Saxony has instructed the Minister of Economic Affairs, Martin Dulig, to conclude administrative agreements ("Agreements") with the German Federal Ministry of Economics ("BMWK") for two battery-chain projects in Saxony, one of which being the Zinnwald Lithium Project. The Agreements are to provide grant funding support for the Project by the State of Saxony in conjunction with the Federal Government under the EU's Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework ("TCTF").
This decision does not guarantee that funding will be secured under the TCTF. The Federal Government expects to make a formal decision on recommended projects during 2024 and final funding decisions at the end of the year. The Parliament of the State of Saxony will also need to formally approve its portion of any funding.

I'm gusesing in 3 weeks time at the AGM , much of the discussion will be related to the appliction to CRMA?
https://single-market-economy.ec.europa.eu/sectors/raw-materials/areas-specific-interest/critical-raw-materials/strategic-projects-under-crma_en
I honestly think Cornish lithium is a vanity project and I live in the west country !
Good article showing all the potiecials for strategic status under the CRMA

Definitely the pick of the bunch for EU. Serbia Jadar not happing, Savannah's Portugal project got too much opposition and baggage and Cinovec not 100% owned by EMH, deeper and nature constraints potentially although I am not following the latest developments on that on.
Refrence this - EMH is actually finalising DFS now where as ZNWD is the end of the year like SAVs - EMH now has full local acceptance and plan to transion the coal jobs to clean jobs, a site big enough for a Gigafactory and just transition Fund Grant worth 49million euros due in Q2 and under the 42.3 price the European bank of reconstruction and development invested €6million euros (still hold all of it).
Both are gonna have big years ahead but I'm slightly heavier in the bigger futher advanced one

Indeed, it has momentum and good to see. They could do with a bit more marketing and IR activity but perhaps as the strategic project application and designation moves forward this will be better regarded as a real project to supply European lithium.

Because it has solid support and will likely get an EU Strategic project designation and can be a low impact low waste deposit.
The EU has set legal targets for 10% of its lithium to be extracted in Europe under the critical raw materials act and Zinnwald is likely to be in pole position. The act came into force yesteday.
Genuine question, why has this doubled the past couple of months when there is no significant news whatsoever, EV car sales are slowing and Lithium metal continues to drift at best?
Oooh...Thank you for sharing......
There will be a solid re rate soon.
To much buying pressure and good news..
Also sat pretty right in the middle of lithium buying country. 😁
Thats my buy at 10.11am x 10k definitely a feeling of momentum and the real possibility of a re-rate soon.

I’m not sure about a mystery buyer but it certainly looks like, volume wise, some insider trading. Perhaps an announcement at the AGM in June is imminent.
Not that I'm complaining (nice to see my holdings comfortably in the black) but would be very interested to know who's been piling in over the past few weeks. What do they know that I don't?

Good question. Did they come back to you on that?
It will be interesting to see how quickly they reply and in what degree of detail.
Posed a question on the new ZNWD investors hub.
Excellent initiative and very encouraging to see the engagement with investors.
Could I please ask, now the European critical raw materials act has been enshrined in law, when do you envisage the application process opening for our asset / project to be put forward for consideration as a strategic priority.
Many thanks,
Elias
With the EU critical raw materials act now set in Law with Lithium of strategic importance.
The news very soon will be an application by Zinnwald to be one of the EU strategic projects for fast tracking.
Zinnwald lithium project in Germany now EU's 2nd largest and getting the green light by the EU will set the company and its share price on a fast upward trajectory.

AMG are an extremely credible partner to ZNWD and they have a proven track record of taking mining development into production and to finish products. I think ZNWD will be the exemplar European based lithium project.
Further to my last, I have quite a few shares here mostly by accident, but I dont monitor this much on a week by week basis and am therefore very heartened to see AMG as the major shareholder with Ganfeng still quite small !
Trouble is as we have seen Ganfeng likes bargain basement buyouts - lets hope this board can push back if the time comes !
Do you think if shortlisted under CMRA any grants would be availlible to znwd ?
ZNWD are producing a BFS. It’s considerable more credible than a DFS. I also don’t see ZNWD off taking with anyone else other than AMG and/or Ganfeng who both own a sizeable proportion of the stock in ZNWD.

Normal AIM director then !!
Or go short. Hard.
JM - kiss of death
Absolute snake or best case totally and utterly hapless. Either way he is toxic and investors should run a mile.
Quite how HZM has arrived at zero is beyond me - what a resource, what an opportunity.
At least JM got his £3m in the years 21/22
RUN RUN RUN
You could have the opposite argument and say that JM may have learnt his lesson and not willing to fall into the same pit.
That’s of course if you think he was hoodwinked in the first place.
Avoid any company with Jeremy Martin onboard . He has lost investors a lot of money whilst he was involved with Horizonte minerals.
Just a warning .
The share price went from £1.60 to 2p in a matter of months .
“RED FLAG “ be very careful !!!!

Looks like Zinnwald is awakening and getting some interest. Preparing to face investors again.. Lithium was oversold and bouncing back, markets improving, commodity prices and miners improving and this is the biggest Li resource in Europe most likely to get to production and should qualify as a strategic project under the new Critical Raw Materials Act.
Only a matter of time before its back at 15-20p DYOR

Very interesting to see ZNWD rising without significant volumes over the last few days. Not sure EMH are significantly ahead of ZNWD, particularly with regards to the development of their respective DFS and BFS. The EMH DFS seems to be in perpetual delay. Not unlike EMH, ZNWD has considerable partners in AMG and Ganfeng. ZNWD should also qualify under the new EU CRMA. It will be interesting to see who begins production first. My monies on the Germans.
Interesting to see Znwd rising
https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/just-transition-fund-approves-cinovec-project-hvgte7a76r3slkw.html
Leading into the CMRA starting next week strategic projects will start to be announced - ZWND is still well over a year to any type of FID but when that time comes EMHs plant will being built, is planning to upgrade to 60,000 tonnes per annum - enough space to process both, they have upgrades due this week
Big month for them expecting a grant larger than the mcap - once back above the banks price in june il slice and add a little more here
It has risen a little in the past few days… ;)
This should be higher too, it’s the same resource.

Very kind of the HZM investors to share their experience. Not sure that it’s wholly relevant to ZNWD. I think we’ve got a significantly different set of opportunities and risks. Looking forward to 2024. After the substantial increase in the MRE, it is highly likely that ZNWD will be established as a strategically important project aligned to the recent approved CRMA and that the BFS will be completed with significant support from the EU and our other partners AMG,

Taverham… you were saying?
You’re not another Pumpty Dumpty, are you?
Doubt it. Project not commercially viable. Good tonnage but very poor grades,. Processing costs certain to be far too high.
Great RNS today should lift sp !
There’s a difference between going into production and producing lithium in a test. They have produced very pure lithium carbonate. They will go into production in a couple of years, the timing will largely be dependent on li prices I’m sure, but I wouldn’t be concerned about their ability to get there with their backers, it will of course help Znwd, with shared processes and technology. The future is bright.
