Very interesting to see ZNWD rising without significant volumes over the last few days. Not sure EMH are significantly ahead of ZNWD, particularly with regards to the development of their respective DFS and BFS. The EMH DFS seems to be in perpetual delay. Not unlike EMH, ZNWD has considerable partners in AMG and Ganfeng. ZNWD should also qualify under the new EU CRMA. It will be interesting to see who begins production first. My monies on the Germans.
Very kind of the HZM investors to share their experience. Not sure that it’s wholly relevant to ZNWD. I think we’ve got a significantly different set of opportunities and risks. Looking forward to 2024. After the substantial increase in the MRE, it is highly likely that ZNWD will be established as a strategically important project aligned to the recent approved CRMA and that the BFS will be completed with significant support from the EU and our other partners AMG,
Someone or a large number of somebodies must have been selling at a substantial loss, because that level of volume should have pushed the SP up substantially further. 28m shares traded yesterday. The previous record was 19m on 28th April 2020, the share price increased by 62% on that day. It might have still been Erris Resources (Exploration) PLC back then.
I agree Mr C but it was nice to get a bit of attention yesterday. My concern is where the c.35m shares have come from over the last couple of days.
GM:
You'd like to think that both the MRE and BFS have been worked on concurrently with regular updates being provided by each team. Either way, in the Oct 23 operational update the Zinnwald team were well aware of the imminent resource upgrade held within the new MRE. They confirmed that the BFS was still dues in early H1 2024. This would have been the right time to say, we expect the MRE to materially change the BFS, therefore the BFS will be delayed until (date TBC). This statement would have been ok given the substantial change in the MRE resource conclusions. AMG have owned 25% of Zinnweld for nearly a year now, they are a class operator and I expect them to substantially support the financial output of the BFS. Hence, I don't think that they will allow a substantial delay to the BFS. AMG mine lithium in Brazil and they will be mining lithium in Germany with Zinnwald. You've heard it here first GLA.
C.5% of the companies share capital has changed hands today. I wonder who's been selling?
Fantastic reaction so far today to a news item that we were all eagerly anticipating. Highlights: now the second biggest lithium resource in the EU in the heart of Germanys historic mining region (makes it very hard for Governments and Industry to ignore), enables higher productivity mining techniques that makes the projects economic business case significantly more appealing.
Looking forward to seeing the BFS, as promised in the October 2023 operational update, in the next few weeks.
With regards to the Zinnwald BFS and it’s early H1 2024 date, I’m referencing the following Operational update:
ZRNS Number : 2818Q
Zinnwald Lithium PLC
17 October 2023
· Bankable Feasibility Study ('BFS') remains targeted for completion early in the first half of 2024.
Hence, my query about financing; as a BFS is usually accompanied by a definitive financial strategy.
Second month into Q1 2024. Do we think the MRE will be updated at some point during Q1 2024? What’s everyone’s confidence levels, given the disappointment of the delay in Q4 2023?
Do we think the BFS will be delivered in H1 2024?
If we have a BFS in H1 2024. Do we think that financing has been established? In particular do we think AMG will be a significant contributor?
Great entry point for those sitting on the sideline IMHO. I think this project will move into production sooner rather than later. Great location, well establish holders and strategic partners, significant assets with potential to expand, potential economies of scale with EMH, existing infrastructure, mining heritage, local regional demand etc etc
It will interesting to see what the share price is in Jan 2026. I wouldn’t be surprised if some positive news is announced in due course. Nice to get in at 6.75p.
At the end of Q1 2024.
Good timing, in line with Zinnwalds operational milestones. Not exactly next to each other though, 650km as the crow flys.
The share price keeps drifting lower though. We need a constant stream of good news in 2024 or I fear for the SP. Shame, I think this is an exciting project with huge potential. Unfortunately not enough interest currently. I’d be interested to know what our institutional investors are thinking right now?
Exemplar Stakeholder management is a fundamental requirement to be able to successfully deliver a project of this magnitude. Delivering on key milestones is also a fundamental requirement for success. EMH has universally failed to achieve these requirements and the recent months/todays share price capitulation is a consequence of those failings. As RI we are toothless to mitigate these shortcomings other than to vote with our feet. GLA
The problem is that small retail investors are likely to keep liquidating for the next few months and this will drive the share price down further. Share prices can, and today is a good example, fall from their own weight. Maybe fill your boots in few more months......
Disappointing RNS this morning. I was hopeful that an updated MRE in Q4 would create some renewed interest in this project. There is a lot to be said about doing what you say you’re going to do. Let see how the market reacts but sadly this has been drifting down for some time now.
Kiss of death @johnpwh.
Thanks for your analysis and valuable input Leon66. You may very well be correct in your conclusions. Let’s be fair, this is a mining project in early development with a high risk profile and not for the faint hearted. After diligently forming your conclusions I’m guessing you can’t wait to move on to your next investment opportunity. Best of luck with your future endeavours.

Thamesis are predicting a substantial increase in resource from c40Mt to +200Mt.
This project has developed quite a bit since Erris Resources, Mike. Shares are readily tradable on the open market. I’m a big fan of German Lithium so I’ve got a few shares but last I heard both Tony Hedges and Ron Benson were substantial holders .
