@Lucky520
I believe i have heard said that the limit of open pits is around c600-650m (i stand to be corrected), BUT you can mine beneath that depth from within the open pit if that makes sense.
I re-listed to the Vox market modelling video - and certainly Jeremy Read believes the strong correlation between Geophysics & drilling gives a compelling view that the pit could be over 3 times the original size, due to the extensions NW, SE, & E...
Does anybody know of another (Copper - Porphyry) open pit c3-4km long and c1.5km wide in the world ?
IMO ATB Shorn
Good point Lucky.... it will make deeper OP more economic, however I dont know what is considered a sensible cut off.
Sorry not 6 km, I mean 3km.
This is my retirement fund I’m very confident.
If the open pit grows to 6km length due to the SE and we have a parallel widening it to say 1.5km width, what sort of depth could it go to?
Funny thing is .... that big zone to the SE doesnt include the IP signature that spurts off to the east. If the SE area is bigger than racecourse, what adjective should we be using to describe all three areas? And should we thinking up Superlatives for when we get some drilling done at Footrot?
This is too compelling.
Should read: close correlation between airborne assay data and actual drill results... what a difference one word makes!
Apologies if somebody had already posted this - I could easily have missed it- but one of the biggest overlooked factors for CB's confidence in BR seems to me to be the repeated close correlation between drill assay data and actual drill results so far in phase 2. This exceptionally close correlation that has been experienced so far offers a very strong probability that the magnetic assay results have accurately identified the presence of copper-bearing mineralisation over a huge area to the SE.
I would not be surprised if CB and his team are now looking at a 30 yrs + mine life at BR, and that is well worth getting excited about!
Another thing which was briefly mentioned was the start of kelengwa too.
So that's........
1. Kelengwa
2. Fairbride
3. 3x alluvials
4. Eureka
In the next 3 months the revenue stream could be quite something!
Looks like saint bird will deliver this Christmas!
Hi Ella
Fully agree - in summary - word is not getting out.
I did get XTRACT to post the presentation link as a retweet from the ********** link back in July. See link below but there is no real helpful introduction e.g. "contains a video from experienced geology team explaining the huge and growing potential at the Bushranger asset"
https://twitter.com/ZaksTradersCafe/status/1419614323526225922?s=20
Twitter isn't the easiest to search and locate however and the presentation isn't, as you say, on the company website which is quite an oversight.
I think that investor relations at XTR need to be more active on social media, consider the investor relations / marketing aspect in RNS's and reappraise the company website.
For example on Twitter @ResourcesXtract has 98 followers - fairly woeful. Compared with for example: ARCM 2,221 Thor 2,591, SolGold 4307
If Twitter is to be a marketing tool then a campaign needs to be undertaken to increase hits / followers.
The Eureka tweet by the corporate account is fairly poor "27 metres of 4.82% copper at Eureka" - yes that was it ! And no retweet of yesterdays video with Zak but maybe it is top of the IR to do list this morning ....
I think Colin is frustrated, as are we, that word isn't really getting out about the huge and growing potential. If Colin reads this then a bit of a marketing push on social media coupled with a review and update of the corporate website could deliver a rapid step change.
Lets assume we are now completing the accumulation phase and now we are ready to move into the public participation phase of the investment cycle with xtract :)
If they could do a similar presentation, but updated, and include a link in the RNS once some of the assays are available it would work wonders. I realise passing a video to be linked in an RNS probably requires more effort. A company recently did this and were obviously so keen for folk to watch the video thay they included THREE links to it in different parts of a reasonably short RNS. The fact that the presentation isn't in an RNS probably means a lot of folk miss it ( or like me misplace it).
As an interim measure perhaps XTR could include a link to that presentation on the their website and twitter, highlighting some aspects, in a similar way to Iceberg's tweet.
imho
ella, i had to listen a couple of times to be sure lol.
on one of the podcasts jeremy reid ( i think) talks about being " tasked with proving up the resource to 2mt to 3mt and maybe 4mt ", on another of the podcasts he also mentions the possibility that the strike could be up to 3km long .
it is my belief that these guys know pretty well whats there but are being guided by the regulations about what they can predict and what they can prove, and we are busy proving it .
I listened to the Vox podcast in detail, it appeared late in the day so was probably not digested entirely by the market, on the strength of it I added to my position, I seriously believe Xtract are now at a major value uplift inflection point.
It is plainly obvious the company is now firing on all cylinders, at long last, Zambia, Mozambique & Australia are delivering company changing news and will continue to do so.
I believe Xtract could shortly be hitting the £80m to £120m m/cap based on projected revenues, exploration success, possibly world class exploration success in Zambia and Australia, one thing for sure is the current market valuation, sub £35m is plain crazy.
Let the re-rate begin !
So what do we do next? Colin asks. We start to prove up the open pit.
Would think that would mean the conceptual pit firstly, not certain on that one. From bout 7min 30sec
This system is getting bigger beyond expectations as we go, first time Footrot was not mentioned! Wonder if is still the intention to drill a recon hole there in phase 2

Having just listened to the vox podcast again (in silence) I can agree with iceberg, he is talking about another bigger porphyry in the SE. I have overlapped the new drill plan with the IP from the twitter image iceberg posted and I believe hole 14 is only just outside the open pit. Being that the IP anomalies are approximately as large as the open pit, it leaves a huge area untested to the SE. Confirming Colin's comment of another large porphyry.
All in my opinion, which of course could be completely wrong but so far I've been pretty good at interpreting the layman terms being used..... Probably because I'm the laymen. Good night.
Well worth watching again from about 19 mins in

Thanks - found it.
Ella - if you mean the presentation of the model by the Xtr team, it is now on Youtube just search for xtract resources and you can'tmiss it!
Wow! Thanks Iceberg. If that deep red all indicates copper, then 2mt is going to be small change.
Thanks Iceberg,
I like the post:-))). Do you have a link to the original presentation handy?
Here's the , bigger than bushranger Colin talked about.
https://mobile.twitter.com/IcebergShares/status/1441127463585681408
I think we are only being told part of the story (probably for good reasons - management can't always be totally open about it's possible future plans). But whilst CB may have let slip more about other aspects of Bushranger, I think he also gave us a hint about the future of the whole company, but it was too vague to be certain. Company split? Sale of part of the company? Main market listing? Significant Joint venture? Time will tell!
Taken at face value, it sounds like he believes Racecourse is just a finger of a much bigger porphyry. However, that would be so huge that I can't bring myself to believe it :)
For now, I am working on the assumption he meant something else, so I am not disappointed later :)
It’s not clear what he is referring to? The new zone or Footrot perhaps? Could do with clarification otherwise has he lit the blue fuse of speculation?!
