Yes, the comment about the 'main porphyry' was very interesting. Exact quote was: "We sit with the main porphyry, which is bigger than Racecourse, yet untested".
I believe that Bushranger is the entire licence area of about 500 km2, while Racecourse is an area of about 70 km2 that contains the current JORC. It's possible that Colin has accidentally let something slip that he hasn't mentioned before, although he could have just mis-spoke and meant something else.
Hi Screenlearner,
There was a point where he appeared to be talking about final steps and then he caught himself, I agree he did say needed to consider the next steps. No idea what that was about.
Hi Lucky ,
I agree it would be nice to see a model. I'm hoping they'll provide something additional with the assays.
Did anyone else feel that CB had something specific in mind in terms of the company which he wasn't telling us? At about 10min in on the Vox interviw he seemed pointedly to encouraged shareholders to think about 'what the company might do next'
My thoughts on hole 14 is I would like to see it against the 'useless' model as the IP data shows large anomalies to the SE and I don't think that hole 14 is that far from the open pit compared to how far the anomalies were in the modeling. That's why being shown the 'useless' model helps us shareholders and others to understand the program.
The following is from the 2nd Sep RNS
'BRDD-21-014 encountered a wide interval of sulphide mineralisation suggesting that the airborne geophysics programme has identified a new zone or possibly a sheared zone from the Racecourse deposit. Recently received magnetic survey results suggest that the hole was on the margin of a new system and as such we are excited about the further potential. These two holes will be modelled and the continuing Phase 2 drilling programme will focus on open pit extensions and further testing of this newly emerging zone."'
And
'Hole BRDD-21-014 was sited to the southeast beyond the limit of the current Racecourse Inferred Mineral Resource and the conceptual open pit area to test a new MIMDAS IP target not investigated by previous drilling at Racecourse. The hole was drilled at -55 degrees towards the northeast and reached a final depth of 816.5m. It intersected what appears to be a new segment of the Bushranger porphyry complex, with significant widths of pyrrhotite-pyrite mineralisation and associated copper sulphides'
Hole 14 is the only one that has explored the potential to the south east
We were not given any facts about it other than it’s length
Ella, I'm going off memory. Had a busy day and just got home so can't exactly remember what he was talking about at the time. Will have a re-listen and try de code it.
Hi Screenlearner,
It does sound like we could have a lot extra but obviously without knowing if there is any worthwhile mineralisation in the 'main porphyry' we are only speculating but it did sound good!
I agree Ella, so does that mean an additional times 2 plussome?
Hi Lucky,
It could be but I very definitely didn't get that impression. I wondered if drill 14 was related to the 'main porphyry'.
Maybe he was alluding racecourse isn't the main attraction now that eureka may have an iocg?
Naughtygordy,
I hadn't seen your post but just relistened to ensure it wasn't a figment of my imagination! Anyone any thoughts on what he is referring to as the main porphyry?
7:58 the main porphyry is bigger than racecourse but remains untested , i think patience is key hear .
showing as a sell on adfn
Interesting how CB majored on the importance of good assay results for Racecourse. Surely he would of only said that if he had a good idea that the first batch were going to be - at least good?
Great podcast. Should bring some attention. Hearing immediate milestones on Africa projects was great. Insight into hole 17 at Bushranger was appreciated. Thanks for putting it in (mainly) understandable terms. Wake up market!
Based on that podcast, I think that Colin believes that the SP should be at least 6p already, just based on the exploration results to date - and still with all that copper and gold income in the pipeline. I honestly believe we will see double figures this year - and I can't wait to open that bottle of champagne!
Thanks Colin. Great effort, great podcast, much appreciated. Keep up the good work. Sp will move eventually!!!
Good to hear that Eureka will be blasting next week and then start shipping lorry loads
He also said 500MT for the Eureka open pit, even at 2% that’s 1mt of copper.
Agreed Mark,
Difficult to believe that we only have a market cap in the mid 30s - By the sound of it Eureka is worth that on it's own!
-Looks like you are still reading the BBs , Colin, so thank you for a great update.
anyone have the actual link ?
