Anyone else watching? Been in and out a couple of times over last year, taking position again. Last RNS stated best ever Christmas sales, expecting a good turn around on this SP in coming few months. Results soon as well ! Looking good.
im broadly happy with the half year results but they do waffle a bit, im still very positive on wine as an undervalued stock the biggest near term challenge is the pound v euro exchange rate but i expect that to improve next year. that will improve profitability no end jmo.
In common with most of my junior market investments, the reaction of the sp to any half decent RNS is an immediate drop. Doesn't seem to matter what the company is involved in! I came back here after the last big drop - thought it was oversold but perhaps I was wrong. Let's hope the wine drinkers of GB get stuck in to the product. GLA
after 3 years holding this share . Always jam tomorrow!!!!! Good luck to all holders.
lets see if an rns is issued in the near future of some big buys by the directors and institutions . given the pow wow at the site visit the other day again jmho.
Despite these two factors, I am pleased to say we are still on track to resume dividend payments this year and to deliver our goal of £500m sales by 2019. We look forward to giving more details at our Interim results in six weeks time." A further update will be given at the time of the Group's Interim Results on 17 November 2016." this makes me believe that the slightly negative RNS was a ploy to reduce the sp so the board and others had a great chance to cash in first read the language used i look forward to update the market in six weeks time.... thats because he knows the results will be excellent jmo of course and second the divi will resume i bet that will be far better than imagined and hey presto im the great guy the sp will rise back over 400 or nearer 500 i know when someone is taking the mick."
is a bit extreme i bought in again i still think it should be around the 350/360 range time will tell i guess gla invested
Was not to be, at least in the short term. Probably a good bet medium term. Sold up yesterday with a reasonable profit. Time to move on.
Second bite of the cherry.
what a drop to raid some shares that was. down 6p and then straight back up 5 minutes later. fill those orders boys, then you can let it go
Ho hum. Let's wait til 5pm again and see all the big orders filled again at 332-333 zzzzzzz
I agree, I'm here until it's in that range, then I'll probably move in myself.i sold out of sports direct to jump in here so I've missed the move up there. Good luck mate, I think you'll do ok with this one
Lol, still here enjoying the view. Having a bit of a breather, but I'm confident in a recovery to 350 - 360 before things slow down.
Looks like it's going to be more of the same again today, mm's keeping it in a tight range. Can't blame all those people that bought heavily and stand to make 40p profit on each share in a matter of days. Well done to all of them for being brave. I'll twiddle my fingers and talk nonsense to myself in here for a few weeks longer.
It's quiet today. So quiet that I can almost hear other people's dreams.
We're going up tomorrow imo, now this order has been filled from yesterday Price Vol Value 330.00 300,000 990.00k That's not peanuts for a share on Aim
Late reported buys, including one for over £166k. Now the buy orders are filled, we can move up tomorrow as long as there's no overhang 334.2197 10,709 35.79k 16:54:14 334.5834 27,022 90.41k. 16:53:51 334.141 2,851 9,526. 16:53:51 334.9765 2,851 9,550. 16:52:48 334.50 3,000 10.04k. 16:51:33 334.6937 6,900 23.09k. 16:50:49 334.3522 7,200 24.07k. 08:40:17 334.9765 2,851 9,550. 08:20:54 334.1409 2,851 9,526. 16:35:23 335.00 49,812 166.87k. 16:29:45
Ok mm's, fill your orders and let it go. I bet we will see some whopping late trades after cop today. Looks like orders are being filled imo. Let's see at 5pm ish
He's what worries me. From Argos, Kingsisher, B&Q, Screwfix, to Majestic. From The Retail Gazette, Hin Colley 'Certain managers at Majestic’s peculiarly named “Jedi-stores” even have the authority to run their outlets with more of an entrepreneur-like angle, implementing their own ideas with minimal micromanagement'. Doesn't impress me at all that.
I see John Colley picked up a few shares at 321. Not many, but suggests he sees them rising!
I think a lot of people are just taking their 40p profits today. No problem with that, it's bottomed out so only going one way sooner or later. Sooner would be nicer
Taking it's time today, but that's OK, no rush. Looking at 350-360 minimum as a starter. Still oversold.
I too thought that the decline was way overdone and bought back in yesterday. Up over 20p so far from the purchase price which at least will cover a few beers.
Yes, a good start. I was trying for a few minutes to buy this morning on HL. Quoted me 330.09 but went to unavailable when I pressed 'accept'. Eventually I had to pay 334.00. I'm hoping we go up another 10p or so today and march on from here. Way overdone on the drop yesterday. Good luck
Looking good for this morning.
