Looking strong UNLESS deal falls through like poster said dead wood gone and promising business kept-game changer
Me too. Just waiting for some damned cash to clear so I can top up here. I'm expecting 20p+ in short order.
One would assume Pebble Beach to be worth a minimum £20 million in isolation given its growth rate since purchase. So that on top of the £5 million net cash from the sale of VCS gives a conservative market cap of £25 million for starters. With current shares in issue of 124,603,134 then at 13p that values VLK at £16,198,407. Therefore that would indicate initial further upside of 54% from the current level of 13p. This equals a current fair value of 20p+. I will continue to add
This should imo be mid 20's then looking at the figures. Ill see if I can find some loose change and take a punt.
"Pebble Beach Systems had a slower than expected start to the year due to a delay in orders being received, however still achieved revenue of £5.4 million (H1 2015: £5.4 million). Pebble Beach Systems contributed £1.2 million of adjusted operating profit in H1 2016 (H1 2015: £1.8 million) which reflects investment in software development and expansion of sales capability to underpin the future growth of the division. We believe that Pebble Beach Systems' ongoing organic growth has transitioned Vislink into a market leading, video capture and playout provider to the broadcast industry. Pebble Beach Systems demonstrates that the Group's software strategy is on track, with the software business providing good growth prospects, better operating margins and the benefit of improved visibility of earnings." Yep, so they've kept the profitable part of the business and offloaded the dead wood, which will take debt to zero and leave them in an excellent position to focus on increased profitability for Pebble Beach. All looks good to me, and way undervalued.
so pebble beach bought for £14.9 mill and this year orders up 53%. Its also profitable. The non profitable side is sold for £13 million- leaving £5 mill cash after paying off debts and a company worth a lot more than £14 million presumably and all for £15 million. Thanks
How much money will be left in the coffers after the debt settlement I wonder :/
The market is highly encouraged by the agreement news. On watch for clear above 13.61.
Debt free and a cracking wee company in peeble *****.doubled in size over last year.
Was purchased for 14.9 million in March 2014 and has grown considerably since then. Do the maths. This is now looking very good from here
£5.4m in H1, with a strong pipeline in H2. "We continue to see significant underlying organic growth in our software business with a strong order intake which has carried through into H2. The long term prospects for Pebble Beach Systems continue to improve as we augment our core enterprise software solutions with cloud enabled software applications. We also have a pipeline of partners and software bolt-on acquisitions which will further enhance the Group strategy of building a high margin, cash generative software business."
Know how much pebble beach is worth? Pebble beach is up 53% from last RNS
....
At last a ray of hope. Debt free sound good but ................... Its still the same management!
Definitely, think we will at the least clear 15 by close of play
..........today announces it has entered into a conditional agreement to sell the assets of Vislink Communication Systems, the hardware division of the Company, for the consideration of $16 million to xG Technology, Inc ("xG Technology"). The sale is expected to close by year-end 2016.
Year high of 40.75, and after the sale they still have Pebble Beach. This should climb from here.
4v1 I'm assuming some sort of TO with this sudden level of buying, VLK falsely driven down to ridiculous levels after it was already at an all time low in the mid teens!!
This is going to bag atleast!
Where is everyone?
Paying a penny over the ask atm. L2 Going through the gears like mad.
At this level. The assets are worth £22 Million alone - Pebble Beach winning contracts left right & centre, not surprised this has started to get some attention.
Stress-related wouldn't be a big surprise, would it? plenty of SH's here have suffered enough of it....
which req privacy... end of ..and encourages cynics to speculate lol
I know his health is a personal issue but I'd like to know if its stress, worry or he's lost his right arm?
