Yep, certainly doesn't help JS.
Maybe your gut should have a chat with your brain....always works for me! ;-))
resignation for "personal health reasons"..wish him well... ..now that might be fine, and reflect in no way on the situation facing vlk ..BUT it seems JOLLY HUGE RED FLAG imv
.
This is rehash of old news already out at interims-don't be sucked in as they will be raising cash soon having lost a mint. See interims.
Couldn't help but top up today. My gut tells me there gonna sort this out with the bank and return to profitability. Each to their own though. ATB to the LTHs
Telling us that PBS is a good business, which I think we knew. Issue here is whether the rest of the business annihilates the equity holders, and leaves the PBS growth in the hands of the next owner who buys it from the creditors. Hopefully not for current shareholders, but that's the risk.
What we have been waiting for, a more pro active approach towards giving shareholders more information. The board has been very inactive in this regard, so nice to see also some excellent trading from PB.
I like the term "several significant"! some hope for holders. Hopefully things will turnaround.
Some decent news!
Maybe the BOD should concentrate on punting the currency, as they seem to have made some good revenue from previous activities!!!!!
However you assess the numbers the management of this company has failed year on year for more than 15 years. Successful companies have been acquired and time after time they have been destroyed, this is no exaggeration. I am not sure how the board survive. The future is not bright.
LONDON (Alliance News) - Vislink PLC on Friday booked a big loss in the first half due to impairments charges following a rough trading period and said it is holding talks with lenders ahead of its breaching its September loan covenants.Vislink, which provides technology services to the broadcasting, surveillance and public safety markets, said it is restructuring its Vislink Communications Systems business to ensure it can be profitable in the future after a weak first half. In total, the company booked GBP29.6 million worth of writedowns related to this restructuring. This pushed Vislink to a GBP32.2 million loss in the half-year to the end of June, a massive widening on the GBP881,000 loss a reported a year prior. Revenue declined to GBP22.6 million from GBP26.6 million, following weaker-than-expected trading in the second quarter of the year. For the half, Vislink secured GBP22.3 million in orders, down from GBP28.2 million a year before. The fall in revenue was driven by Vislink Communication Systems, where sales dropped 19% in the first half year-on-year. Pebble Beach Systems, Vislink's broadcast automation software arm, saw much higher order intake in the first half, but revenue also missed Vislink's expectations. Vislink added it is currently fully utilising its GBP15.0 million revolving credit facility and is forecast to breach its September 2016 banking covenant. It is holding talks with lenders to reach an agreement on its banking facilities.
7 it was mannan ..5 or 10?
yet it just keeps falling.... Sorry, but revenue almost irrelevant at this point. Your post below mentions neither profits nor cash flow, and I'm afraid it is these which drive the future survival (if it happens) and then prosperity of this Company. If investors want a binary bet like this, try your local casino's roulette wheel - just choose red or black.
er....he posted yesterday. Or did you men Wisecrow?

Probably Wisecrow realizing his mistake and raising some funds for much needed counseling......

u r right..it is a weakness
JS, you certainly like to hold a grudge mate.....I'll try not to get on the wrong side of you....;-)
I get it - you've invested and lost loads of money, and you're upset. In addition you're not very bright and have only a rudimentary grasp of English. Life has dealt you a very poor hand, and I genuinely feel sorry for you. For the good of your own health it's time to take a break from this Board and markets in general and get some counseling, or perhaps even try and find some sort of an adult relationship that you've clearly been missing. When you come back, try some blue chips as a way to ease your way back in. Small caps and AIM sticks clearly aren't appropriate for a man of your volatile temperament. Good luck and stay healthy.
@27p ish he claimed to have done loads of research & tried to ramp this sp up on back of his claimed midas touch..and was mighty offended when challenged ..mindless ramping is at least obvious ..claiming a trackrecord will usually get me to challenge the poster
