Why would you ONLY sell 200/- at these low levels, when you hold 13.6m? strange unless of course they have a dumper machine waiting in the wings...
I liked that one 50glass, having sold at a loss after the update. I saw many who sold after the profiteering scheme, sorry profit scheme was announced. In hindsight I should have joined the protest and had more money in my pocket. Im almost tempted to consider rejoining after the SP has continued to fall as this is likely to become cheap on metrics, it might be there already. Still there is something underhand the way the company is run and once bitten twice shy.
...big bounce in the mid-cap FTSE 250 index today (with 2 or 3 notable exceptions...!!) up 2%.
guess you sold @38p cos u r so good..pity you didn't post at the time lol
probably lol
I wonder how much Hawkins is going to trouser this year based on this year's performance?
Hee hee! That had me laughing at my own misfortune 50glass. On my tombstone they'll put: Well, at least he died laughing.
Question: How do you make a small fortune with VLK? Answer: Start with a large fortune.
that is incredible even in the land of historical things occuring.
....when I said it might be a punt at 10p, I didn't realise it was going to get there (possibly) in 24 hours.....Yowzer!
.
likely to be too little late I fear JS......
the management team should be under intense shareholder scrutiny... ...perhaps a change would help??
too true...and often it is better not to ask the question/referendum
Spike, yep, I was 'fortunate' enough to sell out at 25p this morning. I agree, PB is the jewel, but the rest of the business looks ghastly. As stated before, a punt at 10p might be a good shout, but too much uncertainty to buy back above this level IMO. I really should have sold out when the announced the LTIP last year - live and learn!!
Well done for cutting and running, life is about making decisions. GL
I sold out this morning at 20p and won't be touching this again. The only thing I would say is that Pebble Beach Systems is probably worth considerably more as a stand alone business than the current market cap - there could be value here in breaking up the company and selling the individual pieces.
...this morning, with a 45% decline. Might be worth a punt below 10p, but feels to me like a real chance of going to zero. Makes the ridiculous LTIP they put in place last year completely laughable!
What another flipping disaster.....trading below 20p that will teach me to go on trip and do NOWT. oh well back to the 'cubbyhole' Jolly dark in there.
Stock down at 20p now.
I think when you feel obliged to say "As trading has been lower than expected, the Company's bank has agreed to defer covenant tests until the end of July from the end of June and remains supportive of the Company." there's real trouble!!
Well that was a disaster
I'm out at 25p this morning. Good riddance to bad rubbish!
Very lyrical JS - I like it! I'm torn to be honest as from a macro perspective, I'm also pretty bearish. Problem is, I keep finding cheap stocks which I really like...!!!
summer of pain ...perhaps leading to spectacular autumn finale (smash crash) ...leveraged longs in shares or real estate are about to feel poorer, confused..angry even..as their smug "buy the dip" is revealed for the shallow ahistorical bull it has always been...they are taking immense risks scavenging for pennies in front of the oncoming steamroller
