which piece news are people watching for rns on , are there any links that can be posted to help less informed on syme to research .
Weather, same list of companies, small detail as I said. We can leave it at that..
Mine was from the Wealth Management section, Yours the Eurofinleading Fiduciaria SpA section. Different entities, same creator.
Weather, why bother, no matter what you say there will always be one more thing .
Did you get my point that the both the sites are exactly the same when it comes to contacts.
It is a small detail in the grand scheme of things
Just gives confidence we are on the right track.
@Ex, that was just the list that are under 5%, showing lots are keeping under the TR1 threshold. These are the 4 that are from Ceresio and have been or are SYME shareholders via various entities. Sorry for the confusion.

Hi Weathergeek,
The Foglia family/Ceresio Group entity
- Global Selection SGR SpA https://www.ceresioinvestors.com/en/societa/global-selection-SGR-SpA.html .."manages the funds of hedge funds Global Manager Selection Fund and China Managers Selection Fund, has a capital of € 3 million and is registered at number 147 of the register of SGRs. Total assets under management amount to over 550 million euros."
- the 4.98% shareholder in SYME is Parrot (Global Capital plc) of Malta , https://www.globalcapital.com.mt
on the face of it , a completely unrelated entity. Although the principal is Italian and has an interest in fintech, as someone has kindly pointed out.

But you wouldn’t expect it to be the same .. but it’s the same lol
Banca del Ceresio SA @AP ;)
A pie chart showing ownership direct and indirect also would be good. It may show the pie being eaten...
Oh Micky1 .. lovely to see you lol
Now your juicy bits comments last night. Care to expand .
Nexi
Weather, your link lol
Who has the copyright,
My original link for same .. copyright is who?
Proves the connection and an RNS of course lol
It’s all complicated but give Extrader his due he’s maybe on the right tracks. AZ and his new partner(s) played a blinder over the last 6 weeks and for this unfortunate enough to cave in and sell they will regret it shortly. Intrigued if W/G, AP & Savvy can put all the pieces together and come with the goods. All I know is that shortly my maths will be as follows:-
2 + 2 = minted.
Weather, the spread sheet showing every penny each director from the option RNS .. everyone bar AZ
“TAG 56%”.. so 41% of SYME shares held by TAG now to the new partners too . Or close to it lol
Great post Savvy,
You've highlighted the age old tension of PI expectation versus corporate aims. We all hope it aligns perfectly and in a timely manner (for our own personal reasons) but it cannot be sacrificed or jeopardised at the expense of the bigger game.
If we believe in this bigger game then we have no choice but to take it on the chin and wait - both for the big prize and for the smaller prizes in the form of us exploiting SP weaknesses.
Exo15 ,Thanks for reply .had not seen your reply ,was looking at other shares ,if invested would be happy with even half of that price ,with these large buyers loading up ,they do not often invest so much money in so many shares unless they thinking they going to see a nice return .

@AP I haven't forgot..

Great Post Savvy when you lay it out the logic like that and the factors and their potential to be built into the SP going forward.
Always reading this BB daily and rarely posting, so let me take the opportunity to thank the many genuine posters and collective effort/battles and special thank you for WG and Apunter as I am sure many will echo.
Sexy Sexy Syme ATB
Clearly they want to accumulate stock quietly. So when they reach their amount they want then the sp will move. We can hypothize but only they really know.
https://www.ceresioinvestors.com/en/attivita/wealth-management.html
Scroll down to the bottom. Look at the companies. All Ceresio Investors.
I'm not saying they are the Captive Bank, I'm saying they, through their group of investors and clients, as they like to invest together, are facilitating the funding and transaction re the captive bank. It needs central bank approval, who better a major shareholder than the Foglia Family and their various companies who have worked with the Rothchilds. A central banking family.
Have a good look through the link and read all the sections on what they do and what services they provide.
if this rns is released or if a TR1 ,or TR1s ,how high potentially are some thinking share price might move up ,
if a TR1 is released how high is share price likely to move .
Hi Weathergeek,
A few pieces of the puzzle placed (well done the investigators !) but I think some over-enthusiastic interpretation :
- the Foglia family are clearly behind the Ceresio group, but not all the companies you've listed are demonstrably so :
- Equita Capital Group has no stated link : "Equita Capital SGR is part of Equita Group, the independent Italian investment bank listed on the STAR segment of the Italian stock exchange (MTA) with more than 45 years of experience serving companies and institutional investors."...
- Global Capital has no stated link , it's a Maltese-based ex Templeton bancassurance venture , with Mauritius offshore banking antecedents, and a rather chequered regulatory history , previously discussed.
- Belgravia IS part of Ceresio/Foglia .."Belgrave Capital Management Ltd. ("BCM") is a London-based Investment Manager authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority ("FCA") as an Alternative Investment Fund ("AIF") Manager, " it manages funds that may - or may not - include Foglia family money.
- Pictet is a completely separate family business, established nearly a century before Foglia/Ceresio, see https://www.group.pictet/about/partners
- Eurofinleading Fiduciaria IS Foglia/Ceresio, but its a TRUST (hint : its name), it 'owns' 1AF2 in the way that Hargreaves Lansdown 'owns' my SIPP.
It doesn't tell you who's behind 1AF2....or A1F2, the confusingly named entity "Sinopoli & Partners advised A1F2 S.r.l., managed by Alessandro Zamboni, CEO and founder of The AvantGarde Group S.p.A., in the repurchase of 100% stake in the The AvantGarde Group S.p.A..", only that AZ 'manages' it (TAG) and is , per D & B , 'sole administrator' of 1AF2.
- it also seems unlikely that Ceresio is the target'captive bank' : (a) it's too large/well-established; (b) IIRC we were told (can't recall where, maybe proactive ?) that the target was 1 of 4 distressed banks ; and (c) it'll need recapitalising.
- it also seems unlikely that the Alternative Finance Group is the vehicle identified, since it talks of AUM of Euro 8 billion, whilst in the RNS we were told that its AUM were ca. Euro 2 billion.
So, some good progress made on establishing link, but also a bit of unwarranted /unproven conjecture.
HTH and ATB
Gunfish, so they need approx a few hundred thousand shares each at most then they stop?
(keeps below 5%)
Do you think they will then let the sp go?
