"We have a long and successful history in managing alternative funds. From day one we were dedicated to the selection of talented managers all over the world. We were among the promoters of George Soros' Quantum Endowment Fund and are still partners in managing some of the Rothschild Family’s alternative funds.
The third generation of the founder Antonio Foglia continues the activity preserving its original values: professional competence, confidentiality and minimization of conflicts of interest.
Capital strength (Tier 1> 50%), excellent management reputation (€ 8 billion in assets under management) and the co-investment logic between Property and customers represent our distinctive elements."
€8Bn is an interesting number...
Of course we know the value of the holding in these
Companies as we know the % held
Question in my mind, is this our financial partner a leading European fund direct buying to and holding in Ceresio. Or is there a second significant holder
Tbh makes a lot of sense with the Fintech article we had a while ago saying they are the future of banking. Cheers weathergeek. Just a little bit more de-risked.
Just been researching this myself and found out that Alberto Foglia sits on the Quantum board, George Seros’s investment fund. Interesting. Glad I’m all in here.
Weather, all of a sudden we are talking Swiss banks,
8billion, 4 billion first year. Over £100mill spent in company ownership, that’s indirect only, now add these banks holding as that must be direct buying stolen from pi.
Big money in anyone’s book.
You would think that’s a ramp but all of it is fact lol
"We have historically carried out a custodian bank service and we boast among the highest financial strength indicators in the sector. While acting as a bank, the liquidity deposited by customers is not used for credit activities, thus emphasizing our focus on budget robustness."
GROUP FINANCIAL SOLIDITY INDICATORS

I see 4 'banks' here, who will become lenders through SYME, to their own current clients.
Haha, I like the connection FB.
Here's a quote from the website. Bodes well for attracting more funding and high net worth shareholders.
"We invest the assets of our customers in the same tools we select to manage our own assets, following a logic of co-investment with the managers to whom we entrust our assets."
Thanks for this WG. I loved studying the scramble for africa back in the day, and have just learnt that the rothschilds financed the Suez Canal. The Suez Canal was arguably the most important trading innovation in the history of capitalism.
Well, it WAS the most important innovation ;)
After reading this I am really really upset. Upset, that I should of invested more :).
Thank You weathergeek and Apunter for this information, It just proves how big syme is going to be.
Thanks WG, just read a little about them, all bodes well ;)
AP has posted about these. Doing a bit more digging.

For those after names, Looks like the Foglia Family have a fairly big chunk of SYME. Some of the clients have included George Soros and the Rothchilds. Nothing small then! I would say something of this sort of size would be maybe behind funding a bank. After all, the Rothchilds are one of the private families that own central banks.
