I agree with hubrishunter.
I don't use Twitter - what did hubris say?
Will copy and paste it in for you addicknt.
Solgold: a few things I infer from the last RNS: · “Management is internally evaluating a phased approach to the development of Cascabel with the intent to reduce upfront capital and shorten the development schedule.” & $25.4M shares held in a wholly owned subsidiary.
Thanks Q.
Full Thread... here you are add.... ( HH - I know you pop in on here every now and again so ... full copyright "@Hubrishunter" - although like some other respected posters he probably stays away these days given the utter b3ll3nds that seem to hang out on here these days. Thanks christ I have two businesses to run to keep me busy and away from some of the tosh on here during the day. Hi to all those posters who are staying away for there sanity! )
$SOLG Solgold: a few things I infer from the last RNS: · “Management is internally evaluating a phased approach to the development of Cascabel with the intent to reduce upfront capital and shorten the development schedule.” & $25.4M shares held in a wholly owned subsidiary 1/
So Brooke Mcdonald, CEO of CGP back in 2021 when the PFS was delayed hinted at how they wanted to develop Alpala. Cornerstone said this already in 2021:
“the focus of initial operations should be on accessing the high-grade core at Alpala” 2/
Currently, it has 442MT at 1.40% CuEq in the measured and indicated category, including 359MT at 1.47% CuEq in the measured category alone. We expect that targeting the high-grade core with a smaller initial footprint will lower project risk through higher margin tonnes 3/
earlier in the mine plan, and will provide a platform for expansion at Cascabel.” “The lowering of initial capex will be achieved by sequencing the mining of the highest-grade portions of the core first, through a smaller initial footprint, which will allow for expansion..4/
in the future. While it’s too early to tell, we expect that additional targets will provide a roadmap for an optimal development plan.”
This is what I think part of the plan is but with a JV structure involving ENAMI and Jiangxi. I will never say never BHP/NCM 5/
As for the treasury shares held in a subsidiary, I was very surprised as I really convinced it was a block trade in favour of someone like Jiangxi, but clearly that would have by law been reported within 3 days. So I was wrong here. Why not sold? Why keep? Maybe it was their 6/
Intention to keep and sell to whom? If it is bc of low stock levels then why new shares to Jiangxi at 0.2$?Given they did DD and felt confident to buy a decent stake? Waiting for JV clarity? Why sell at all? But referenced as a potential source for cash. Anybody have a theory?7/
Does it mean some will bid for that subsidiary containing the ex treasury shares? As they stated, they no longer have treasury shares (derived from CGP’s old SOLG stake). They were part of Newco. Need to think about the permutations/implications regarding this.
Thanks hfm.
If as is forecast by fdyjn and. bg on here, that the Chinese are buying us out at the weekend, I hope they don't read this march publication in amazon watch before they are due to pay up.
Amazon Watch Climate, Energy, and Extractive Industry Director Kevin Koenig added, “Public sentiment in Ecuador against mining is surging because of the enormous damage it causes to waterways and ancestral territories. Indigenous leaders are suffering death threats and violence because of extraction on their lands. The risks of any continued mining in Shuar territory are too high, not only for Solaris, but for any Canadian company or investor looking to mine in the rainforest, and to the surrounding communities and the Amazon biome as a whole.”
Me personally tend to agree with bubble.
The unrest, corruption and political turmoil including impeachment of president. 2 years and still waiting for the government to issue a decre to say any investers money will be safe. Probable election in the near future, with probable anti mining government being elected. A defacto sacked ceo, still running the company, who is better at destroying trust, than building it.and has been shown to at best, bend the truth.
Nothing for us to worry about here.
Ps when I read the hysteria regarding infesters. Do you honestly not think they may have a point
Also bbg and dittyman. Why get hysterical about infesters, when solg is talking the sp down far better than any infesters.
Have they found a French translater yet.
Have they found what happened to the millions that disappeared.
How many directors have they gone through.
Didn't the share holders sack the ceo.
Didn't one of the main share holders just bail out
Have they treated retail share holders with utter contempt
Hasn't the sp fallen from 60p to 17p, with no attempt to address the disaster.
Do they appear dead in the water, with no leadership or direction
Is mather rumoured to be impossible to deal with.
Didn't the new financial director depart after a fortnight, after she read the books.
How many times now have they preplanned a cheaper mining operation.
Are they not sacking staff for fun, whilst mothballing the whole show.
Are they not running out of cash.
You keep posting infesters, I will keep posting
Needalife your talking rubbish.
Let's not forget if the left get into power in Ecuador they also support mining.
Also it took Solgold some considerable time to get it's water permit for Alpala because we had to demonstrate we would not contaminate the water basin.
The indigenous population supports Solgold.
They are buying into the project.
If you really believe what you post, I would sell up now and cut your losses. It would be the only sensible thing to do.
However you won't because you know you're talking rubbish.
Try taking an objective position.
There is risk in every situation.
Quady, funnily enough you only addressed a couple of my points. What about thr rest.
I will remind you.by the way. He's sacking the indigenous people you say are supporting him
Have they found a French translater yet.
Have they found what happened to the millions that disappeared.

The other point is quady. Bearing in mind the proven ground swell against mining. Do you not think a left leaning party, trying to wi an election, just might go for the popular vote. Ie stop mining.
All of your elaborate hypothesis and hair brained theorys, never seem to address the fundamentals
Needalife they are non questions.
If you believe they need answering then read up about Solgold.
NM still has a controlling interest in the company, and is still here.
BHP and NCM wanted him removed to take over the company with a cheap offer.
We have successfully defended every time.
Directors have been replaced as the company has evolved this is true of companies that change as they grow as different skillsets are required.
No main shareholder has bailed out. What are you on about.
No CEO has been removed by the shareholders.
You talk complete rubbish.
Again needalife you're talking rubbish.
Lenin Moreno was in power before Lasso.
He was a socialist.
Yet he promoted mining.
You have no evidence for anything you say.
The country is pro mining.
You are saying things like because the UK has stop oil that the whole country supports stop oil and we are going to have every house insulated. Its complete rubbish.
You get protest groups in every country.
I'll answer for quady. Scott Caldwell doesn't thing a further left government will be anti mining.
I don't need to address your other points they are rubbish.
I answered most of your rubbish.
What major shareholder sold out last week.
What are you on about.
Quady. These points mate. Address these
Have they found what happened to the millions that dissapeard.
Mather is impossible to deal with
They're sacking staff for fun
Company mothballed.
Financial director, lasted a matter of weeks.
They're running out of money.
No leadership or direction
How many times have they reassessed the costs to go to production.
Filtered
Killjoy. Filtering alters nothing. There is not one thing I have posted that doesn't pass scrutiny.
Now I'm off out. As nobody seems able to tell me why they find it difficult to understand why were not sold
Needalife this is pointless but
Point one what happened to the millions that disappeared.
No one knows, you get fraud everywhere.
They are reducing staff as they are cutting costs while undergoing a strategic review.
Even you must be aware of that.
We are not running out of money. We are adjusting our run rate, so we are financed into 2024.
Mather is not difficult to deal with.
He just supports all shareholders and will not sell out cheap.
Now answer a proper question.
What major shareholder has sold out of Solgold?
Needalife what major shareholder has sold out of Solgold.
Morning Shipright, morning all.....I agree with you Shipright I don't he does.
