Thanks Highflyigman for posting.
Great step forward.
Now BHP and all the other big boys and girls know what taxes will be paid and lots of other terms they will need to work with.
At last something substantial to talk about!
Thanks for sharing highflying.
Significant milestone.
The blue touch paper is lit.
Now watch this rocket and the magnificent display.

Tremendous news. It's been a very long wait.
We're getting much closer to having an 'oven ready' saleable asset.
No doubt this is great news ….. now all we need is a little competitive tension …… those CGP shares suddenly look bit more valuable .
Nice reduction in the tax rate too …… great job Scott & Co another huge box ticked
Great news indeed and like I said all parties seem in a bit of a rush to get this sorted before Lasso departs. I wonder whether the chinese will now make a move before elections and get a deal signed???
No coincidence that this has been fast tracked when it was due or expected for end of the year.
Terms look great and have in no doubt (in my mind) been requested or negotiated with SOLG on behalf of a future partner or owner.
To this that said nothing would happen here until later in the year. You were wrong.
It's now very much game on and starter gun officially fired.
Great to have this tied up pre elections.
Well done Scott, Mather and team.
At last....hooray...now what will Newmont do? Perfect timing...
Well done guys for being patient I hope you get your just rewards ,don’t listen to I told you so posters 😂
Aye Fort …. Fast and smart
50%, Caldwell lacked negotiation
Definitely a push to get Alpala wrapped up before new party comes in post elections. This has basically removed all the risk with the upcoming elections imho as legally binding and very difficult to unpick.
Now... if the chinese or another party want to get Alpala tied up... they may as well strike a deal now before elections as Lasso will be off in a few months time.
I guess we all know where that $25m (first payment) is coming from then?? Either CGP share issue to chinese for another 5% or to Maxit et all for cash just before they agree a sale lol! Noses in troughs always noisiest before takeovers or monetisation events. It's human nature. Scott got his 17p options and Chinese mopped up another 1% while the paint was drying here. mmm.
Much better news today..
Slug called this correctly a few days ago...
It certainly put a fire under the SP didn't it ?
Jezzoo, hush mate, don't spoil the party
Fdjyn.
It's all gone quiet over THERE with the rampers.
Sometimes mate it's best to keep your mouth shut.
Sadlife best you take your own advice!!
Another piece to the jigsaw. But the piece future prospective buyers will be interested in - is the attitude that the new government adopts post August and then in 2025.
These agreements aren't worth the paper they're written on - if the new government renege on it all. And for those who think we have international rights for compensation: (a) it could take decades to resolve and (b) compensation would'nt trickle down to the likes of you and me.
I don't think the coast is clear until the new government declares their (mining) position.
I'm guessing - end of the year maybe?
