Agree it’s a positive sign, but to suggest its pre bid action amounts to an accusation of insider dealing.
Where is the link to the RNS?
1984 ….. remember being sneered at when we suggested the low price might actually suit the BOD ….. then this (not so) mystery buys on the TSX last week
Jobs for the boys??
Anyway it’s a positive sign
So it was Caldwell who caused the 20% spike buying in Canada the other day
Classic pre bid action
Hooray!
Scott bought £475k which isn't the worst sign in the world for SOLG!
Board buying shares.
RNS
Directors buying
Just hope one day I check this share and we have some sort of positive news pushing us back up. But todays not that day.
Is there some sort of hope, as we've had no real news on recent price movement that there's talks going on in the background and open discussion about the low price is a no no?
Yup, I remember it....and even more I stick with it!
More to the point, what a sad, pathetic individual you are trawling back four years over my posting history.....lol.
May I suggest that you get a life for yourself.
Jaysus.....what a sad twat!
May be as part of cost savings Scotts has been asked to take a pay cut and he is sulking lol
First lockdown was late March 2020, 26 ish from memory
Lockdowns were only three years ago
Copperpot. wonder if you remember this blockbuster you posted 4 years ago. yea mate 4 years.
"Thing's are moving along nicely behind the scenes for us now, even with lockdown's due to C19. I like the fact that we are in the "final" stages of discussions with traders and smelters and not stuck in the preliminaries. The world and his wife ( majors, traders, smelters etc) all want a piece of the action here and are itching to put pen to paper asap. You can almost see them now, clambering over each other with quills in hand! Dog eat dog scenario!
I'm pretty certain that NM and SOLG will go down in the annals of history as "the team that put Ecuador on the mining map" This is more than money to NM, it's a personal, and also a team effort (crusade) to get a nation off its knees and offering it a chance to move forward with some hope in the coming years. NM, JW etc etc want to be the ones remembered for turning the countries fortunes around. Many will disagree with what I say, and why not, that's what this board is about. There's another major in the making here!!!! Watch this space ;-)"
well mate after 4 long long years, im still watching this space. and were still being told something is going on behind the scenes.
your still spouting the same, watch this space..
the only thing that's changed is that youve now invented an imaginary banker you met in a London coffee shop,
who actually has a contact in solg, and wow. would you believe it. he agrees with you.
Totally irrelevant given that solgold won’t be building the mine. You’d have to be away with the fairies to think they would

It was in reply to copperpot, you posts are pretty reasoned and perfectly placed.
Of course you need to be optimistic about your investment, who wouldn’t be after all it’s your hard earned cash. My issue is with the rampers, who no matter what, see the positive in every situation when sometimes there just isn’t anything positive to post.
Copperpots insinuation that boiler rooms etc are trying to get the price down is just fantasy and bears no resemblance to reality.
Obviously the share has had a tough time recently but that isn’t down to negative posters on here despite who the rampers like to blame.
Realistic posters, like yourself, I wish all the best
My bad, my first ever SOLG trade was in 2011, bought at 26.40 and sold at 20.00, a very bad start!
Tesla1, if your answer is address to me, I just want to point out that you are not one of the filtered ones.
Luckily, I am not in love with any of the shares or bonds or funds I have invested in, it's just money and my desire to be financially free.
Also, looking at the profits I have already made from SOLG since I first invested in 2014 and the desire to move on to a different asset class, I would consider myself more impatient than deluded at this point in time.
Do I know for sure we will eventually see a rerate? No of course not, but on balance given this share's historical volatility and the fact that 1) the entire sector is in an off-risk phase and 2) SOLG is in the worst part of the orphan period, I put my money where my mouth is and I am willing to run with this risk level, with a relatively favourable outlook on the next 12 months.
As you can see from my posts, I never really dramatize the ramp or the deramp, I am critical of the management as much as they deserve, my analysis is aligned to my position and risk predisposition. I may share some opinions but I don't tell others what to do with SOLG. In fact, all that matters is whether this trade is a win or a loss and either way it sits with me, same as your investment outcome sits with you.
Let's just be nice.
Build a mine Solg have still not decided if it will be block caving or opencast. Some people at the
top have no idea what is required. Just because a person has a lot of shares that person knows
what to do. sadly not so here. I personally do not think block mining will work
It is quite amusing the fantasy scheming rampers cling on to to justify the undying love of this share.
Perhaps if posters like you, weren’t so blinkered and in love with this share you wouldn’t be in the mess you obviously all currently are.
There are many reasons why people post, not all of it is to get you to part with those lovely gold plated shares, you think you hold, that have lost 75% of their value in 18 months.
Gee whizz those so called boiler rooms have either made a lot of dough from posters like you, or you are just deluded, I know where my vote is …….
Considering the solution to that is available and it's the filter button, it's remarkably dumb that some keep indulging them with a constant response.
Some folk think we are doomed why are they still here around the clock reminding us day in, day out? If they still hold shares......why haven't they sold? If they haven't sold you have to smell a rat! Even if they're under water, you would still sell and cut your losses.
You boiler room boys really are working hard for our shares! Multiple aliases and round the clock posting only tells me one thing.......'hold tight'
You're not getting your dirty mitts on my shares!
It certainly will cost £3bn, and then some. These things never come anywhere near their overly optimistic budgets.
In dollars at the very minimum you’re looking $5b to build this. Solgold have neither the skills nor the money (and no you can’t just thumb through trust a trader for a mine builder twiddling his thumbs)
There are vanishingly few outfits capable of this. Only when the predicted cooler shortage becomes more severe, or when they think that sector outlook might improve, or another suitor bids will they pull the trigger
Until then it makes sense to let solgold do the housework and dig their own financial grave
