Commendable, all part of the compelling SolGold investment package. GLA
DBW,
Good find
That’s a very good video, pleased they are doing all they said they would and more, very happy to be invested in Solgold however long it takes, Well done to the team there.

Feels like they are moving up to a whole new level with DC in charge, another great piece of media and slowly building a strong corporate responsibility image and really going for the hearts and minds which will distinguish this company from the wannabe's. Of course we'd all like the price to be far higher than where we are now however nothing out of line with all our other peers as posted last week. Just a bit more patience needed.
ONWARDS & UPWARDS
Seanhunter, the last funding round of $100m and $40m didn't sting did it? Mather made sure it didn't as his interest are aligned with the common pi. I think you might be surprised this time around, I think boliden or those types are in the frame and that's not going to please BHP but like I said... it's up to BHP... if they offer to fund the $100m+ but at 45p (like they did last time Sean) then I think most would happy.... well those that are invested. SP could move up fast to 30p levels soon if market gets.a whiff that a cheap raise in mid 20's is not happening... bit like the price surge seen when blackrock and Norges were in a rush to add stock. You could get left behind Sean as it's obvious you've sold with a. view of buying back cheaper. Good luck with that. Risky move. FOMO rules here. And our time is coming.
Forissimi why do we never ever raise cash when the sp us up at 40p? The next placing is coming, and it's going to sting.
I’ll give you one guess guys…
Well you are spot on Gino, after receiving 27 likes meaning people agreed with me regarding two childish posters, my post was removed and the kiddies ones remained, go figure that one
Any reason Admin?
Well there you have it. After much amateur dithering and doddering, favouring your chosen posters (on many other BBs, not just SOLG) to do as they like whilst deleting most of so much else, it appears that very few posters are now contributing to your site. I monitor 8 shares with you and can see 9 comments across all of them, filtered included. I will keep looking in here but will spend more of my time reading a more professionally orientated site.
You have members email addresses, why don't you admit you've fouled up, explain how you will address your failings and apologise wholeheartedly for the mess for which you, by your acquiescence, have been a major contributor.
Global miner BHP Billiton is likely to reconsider its investment plans in Chile, the world’s No. 1 copper producer, if the government moves ahead with mining tax hikes, according to a report on Sunday.
The company was quoted by El Mercurio newspaper as saying in a statement that higher taxes would make Chile more expensive than other top mining jurisdictions like Australia, Canada and neighbouring Peru.
“We have serious concerns with regards to the new royalties,” the company said. “If the proposed royalty (hike) materializes, we would have to reevaluate our investment plans for Chile.”
Other global miners operating in Chile include Glencore, Anglo American, Freeport McMoRan and Antofagasta

Well my 2 and 11 trades keep popping up since Friday let's see
Price appreciating nicely on a quiet no news very hot Monday ;))
ONWARDS & UPWARDS !!!
What's wrong with Google share prices, everything seems to be flatlining and Yahoo Finance seems to have no updates post Friday close.
Yes, Bubble. A series of news. First, that Gold has reached it's bottom and that a forward looking market can see that further FED interest rate rises will be toxic. That the USD has peaked. That China's economy is getting back into gear so that price of copper improves. The war in Ukraine comes to an end with Ukraine the winner and putin disappears mysteriously!
But, most of all: what is the Grand Plan here at Solgold? What is happening behind the scenes? How ill it implicate us small investors/PI's? Will we back to 40 or maybe 50p soon? What finance deal will Solgold go for as they will need cash in the bank soon?
Anyone for a bit of news this week??:):)
We have no rev so market knows we have to raise money. That's a given. But at the moment the market is assuming that comes from an equity raise. In past times that's around $40m which in context is a minor raise and really shouldn't be the single most directing force on the share price. But there's a strong chance this time that more cash is required. Like the $100m via Franco, if similar funds come from Boliden or another then we know that upsets BHP and NCM but pleases just about every other shareholder as dilution is not something that we want too much of and on $100m the dilution becomes more significant.
There's been some little news pieces with hints of deals being done and recently talk of Warintza and Lundin or Solaris etc.
In my opinion if BHP and NCM don't want another royalty deal then 'they' should approach SOLG and offer to raise the $40m or $100m but at 35p or 45p levels. At those levels it becomes less dilutive. I think most would be fine with a 36p capital raise of $100m. That would see the sp bounce back fast. I wonder whether that was brewing when Blackrock were in a hurry to buy back that 1% that they seem to be playing around with for last few months (my assumption!).
It's all going to be unveiled soon and the new appointments suggest that those new signings know that funding is not an issue with some actively being employed to help back ink it all. Buy the dips as fruit bat used to say. Are you back in yet fruit bat?
BHP /Rio etc up overnight in Aus
Hopefully some stability coming to the sector and we can stop the rot here too.
As I keep saying we haven’t raised any money here (we all know we’ll need it to continue exploration programs) and no meaningful regional results for months …. All points to a deal of sorts (anyone’s guess) going on in the background….
Smickster yep totally agree with you there
I still think the biggest issue here for Mather is that he feels SOLG are worth considerably more than just ENSA/Alpala. Whether he's right or not is anyones guess but I think he wants the chance to explore some more licence blocks with Rio likely high on the list. So put yourself in Mather's shoes... any deal that see's SOLG continue to explore the rest of folios a good deal for him. It might end up a bad deal for all if the drills bit delivers nothing but average assays and cash pile shrinks. Ophir energy is a prime example of a business that did really well by selling a minor 20% in a Tanzanian O&G discovery for $1.3bln! They then went on to spend all of that $1.3bln on duster after duster after duster. Unbelievable! So one scenario here is that SOLG IPO ENSA and get a wedge of cash plus retain a small stake. Then go on a huge exploration phase which either delivers or fails. It's a bit like winning at the casino and then pouring it all back in and losing majority of it. Of course the bullish scenario is Mather and team end up delivering the much promised 'handful' of Tier 1 assets. I think the worst case scenario for Mather is a complete buyout of SOLG for a price that barely even covers ENSA's true worth or potential. Rest of the folio effectively goes for free. One way he and the SOLG team can move to try and fight off that scenario is to start doing JV deals on Greenock and other licence blocks and then at the very least it's harder to take SOLG out based on ENSA value alone.
Here's one to ponder... lets say BHP offer XX for ENSA and price agreed but SOLG set up a spin off company and chuck all other blocks into that and then IPO that in some form. Would you invest in that or walk away? I guess that's the real issue here... many want exploration but like the fact we are under pinned by ENSA value. But how confident are you of SOLG funding another tier 1 asset? Would you invest lock stock and barrel into say... 20 or 30 drills on RIO?
In summary.... I think there's a chance that if BHP and NCM play it right they can get a deal that suits all. A deal that leaves SOLG to continue as the explorer which after all was the whole point of the business in format place. Something cooking for sure as all involved seem very quiet. Even the media. No leak stories at present. Mmm!
I'd say a move in next 6 weeks.
General markets have moved in favour of bhp so now would be the time for a cheeky move and use the pressure of the agm, removing Mather this December and threat of dilution for investors to get all to accept.
Solg will hold back on news and use the threat of a streaming deal to see us through to dfs, pfs update and further regionals.
No real regional since Porvenir Dec 21 and lot of loose ends being tied precedding a change in ownership?
The question is what's is enough to see that realised 40,50, 60p+
If a company wants to purchase solg it will sell even if they say solg is going into production
Everything has a price and if the price is right it will be sold
Just saying
Yup.
Agree Addicknt. I remember the comment from Mather and whilst I think he was talking in general, the scenario he was keen to avoid has now come to fruition.
The way I'm looking at it is that if someone doesn't move now, when do they? We won't appeal if/when copper is $6/7/8 per lb as the spending power of their cash resources is being eaten into during this high inflationary period.
I have to say what I see. The sweet spot is almost here surely? I need to buy more stock.
I don't venture there Jezzoo but you can argue that LSE have the filter. The problem is that with SOLG we have two protagonists and then we've got the other 'character' that keeps getting banned.
There are good groups on other media and in a way I think they'd benefit from the serious amongst us joining them.
But hey it is what it is. We've just got to move past it.
Bozi, I completely agree with your second paragraph. Mather himself described a similar sp as being "dangerous", and he was right. We are terribly exposed at the moment as I'm sure the board understands. They need to release some price enhancing news asap.
