Or the purchase of your company by another company.
Essentially, any transaction or event that impacts the corporate level of the business is a corporate action.
Come on Quady. There's no need to obfuscate in such a way.
Addicknt that's what cooperate action means. It's an adjustment of finances.
Either to do with finance, dividends, buybacks or the purchase of another company.
I believe the only one that applies to us out of that list is a cash raise.
Just what it's for and how it will be executed is the question.
Agree Addicknt.
You could say where is the precedent for him flagging up a cash raise in such a way? There isn't one.
It's looking to me that this macro environment is going to tempt a suitor from the shadows. Unfortunately it does weaken our hand, as does our dwindling cash pile but let's see what is pulled together.
Q, it seems unlikely that NM would want to flag- up a cash raise, especially as he identifies this issue as being one of the reasons for the depressed valuation.
Of course, we know one is due - in fact I'm surprised it hasn't already happened, but NM was trying to excite his shareholders and you don't do that by telling them that they're about to be diluted again.
This is a cash raise. Wherever for Alpala or continued drilling.
We just need to wait.
Nm it's Thursday...
Addiction do you mean like hay nick start a rumor when need a cash raise?
One other thought: The most powerful NED on our board has openly told the world to expect corporate action; how do our other NEDs react?
In most circumstances a board would be very unhappy about this type of comment. However, given our languishing valuation, ours may be more than happy about the introduction of more speculation. Indeed, it may have been pre-agreed as part of a grander strategy.
All good stuff!
Cheers Mog

DBW, it should be said that he's not referring to anything which is concrete, merely that this is what he anticipates. In other words, he's not breaking any rules, but as I said, it exposes the conflict.
He did this because DGR is unloved and he needs to boost the sp, consequently I now place them firmly in the same camp as CGP i.e willing sellers.
Can anyone find anything to collaborate the story?
It’s the perfect crime Add
He can’t leak via Solgold but is perfectly at liberty to keep his DGR shareholders in the loop …. Great stuff
This is very interesting, but it does seem to expose an interesting conflict of interest for Mather.
We have an NED on our board who, by virtue of his position on the board of a significant shareholder, has openly suggested the investor shareholders should expect corporate action in the investee company. Hmmm.
Not that I'm complaining, mind.
Financing news?
No need to leave Ray, we all know why you started posting here in the first place but that's ancient history now. When you're not winding certain people up you actually make sensible contributions to the debate, so stick around mate.

DGR presentation at the Noosa mining conference just out says to expect corporate actions on Solgold. This is your last chance to buy cheap Solgold shares.
Cask ale for me ship!!:):)
weasel at the ready sjn
The last chance to buy Solgold cheap was 2013 when I did.
However in that year you could have still bought considerably cheaper than I achieved.
Is this the last of the 200 other chances we have had over the last few years?
Get onboard probably one of the few chances left to buy cheap SOLG stock.
I might treat myself to a small pasty. Barnecutts of course.
