DBW - massive recent trading volumes supportive of the positive price action in due course. Ho Ho Ho
Cheers BPHIL , hope you're right mate. A blue day would help the mood!:)
That’s nearly 20m today …. Hmmm
Another 5.3m just printed Bogotá
UT 12.143 million..nice and chunky volume
Covgaz- the situation is the same now as it has been for ages. One bid for the company and we’re screwed ; two or multiple bids and who knows where we end up ...75p is doable , maybe even more.
The present sp should not be taken as a guide ; it can double or treble in no time on serious news of interest .
Take a look at HARL to see what can happen with momentum , up 400% in 6 weeks . The likelihood of that happening here is good imo . A stitch up is also possible... but that’s the nature of investing in these stocks . Keep the faith, things are moving in our direction at last
Very poor from NCM and BHP. Both should have issued TR1's after falling through 13% level.
No excuse for the delay.
Quady I don't believe anything here. And no I don't understand it probably. Where are the exit points , any idea? Without a hefty loss that is.
Does anyone understand this share? I have yet to see any evidence ??
again.
:-)
I have faith. even if it seems many don't atm.
This is cheap, cheap, cheap peeps!
Covgaz really you are sure that we are going to be bid for.
Remember I am the fool that says this is going to take time.
I am not quite sure you understand this share.
All looking good here eh? Even a bidding war now may get us 38p. Absolute farce. The BOD have the audacity to ask us to vote for everything after what they've given us this year.Just to line their own pockets?
Othern, you complain about people saying the same thing each day, the same accusation could be leveled at you. I really don't understand why you don't sell.
If CGP and SOLG merger doesn't go through would be the shorter arb fund will have to buy back the SOLG stock in open market imo. With the arbitrage fund shorting SOLG, it makes one wonder whether the big holders in CGP are only using SOLG I.e. us shareholders as exit liquidity, given that with CGP they have no exit liquidity? Surely raising £50mn around 24p with the new CFO, early summer would have resulted in 10% dilution at a market cap of around £500mn, with market having confidence and visibility of exploration and feasibility studies and dz and old team working towards adding more value through exploration work? Share price would have been above 20p with market having more confidence. The CEO and JX recent purchases are all under water at current share price with the shorting fund in profit?
DBW - yes that was the block I saw after the close
Yeah 9.7m at 15.82 ??
Blackrock?
9.7 million block included in the UT
Going to be a massive ut
That’s a fair question and summation Italian… it’s becoming very obvious to me that many here are just in denial about where we find ourselves right now..
When I check the board, it seems to be the same voices, banging the same drum, about how we are all about to be saved by a bid any minute… trying to shore up each other’s confidence, as the share price continues to fall.. any critical analysis has gone out of the window, in favour of back slapping, it will all be ok one day soon, type of messages.. Clinging to hopes of a bid, to rescue the shares performance over the last 12 months is all many have left… and it seems only holders here can see a bid happening soon, as no financial institutions are piling in expecting one.
any solution Maxit can engineer, will be judged by them, against their recent 16p entry point.. almost certainly leaving many on here dissatisfied, when or even if, it happens.
This is not going higher than even 50p in my opinion… we will be lucky to see over 40.
Fortissimo, just googled it quickly and they own Las Bambas in Peru, plus major interests in Zambia and the Congo
I'm aware of the chinese pretty much owning and buying everything that's out there but can anyone point to a previous example of a chinese company owning or buying a large stake in a Tier 1 mine.
How many Tier1 mines do the chinese currently own?
Just need them to throw in a few kung foo kicks to floor the bully boys (BHP- NCM)
Skippo
Totally agree …. Get the AGM and merger sorted
Hopefully our friends from the East have been soaking up the Blackrock stock ….. someone has
The chinese involvement gives me an assurance that we have a bright future. Upcoming board meeting critical
highfly, the critical question is what is step 3? If we sell and everyone gets a payoff, trust is not even in question. If step 3 is a Maxit move at the expense of the rest of us, then trust will never be earned. I am not usually binary in my thinking, but the narrative here has developed so that we PIs are cornered, can't sell because most of us are in the red, can't buy more because most of us were already maxed out and positioned for a corporate event for the last two years.
I hope alongside everyone else, but we are objectively on the receiving side of a ton of s h i t
