two cheeks of the same socialist backside bozi, there isn't a *** paper between them. sir kneel starmer has now even come around to understanding what a woman is which was about the only difference between the parties.
it's hard left or hard left, which bodes terribly for the next six years. if i could be bothered to sell up and get out, i would.
auction yesterday had quite a lot of 100k+ positions, including two over 700k. significantly more than of late. maybe a few are back at their desks already earning a few extra grand to treat the wife to a loaf of hovis this month.
Probably the usual end of month tidy up, but 1.8m block the largest for sometime.
So that's it then. September starts on a fresh round 15p. Let's see where it gets to over the next 12 weeks. Anything less than mid 20's and the AGM is not going to be much fun for the CGP boys. It's time they delivered especially after the grotesque option awards earlier in the year.
Tick tock Scott. You can't point the finger at Mather this time or anyone else. Just you... and you only... oh and Bob and Maxit of course. Reputations at stake here.
1982 - it's the retail trades I'm talking about really. All those who cashed out earlier in the year or on the 22p high who might now be looking for a fresh position.
I don't know enough about the auctions and uncrossing trades but my guess is that's the insti's moving larger blocks around. I'd be expecting more widespread market excitement.
I share your sympathy for the spivs, especially the tory ones who believe the ulez is a Labour mayor running amok and not a policy born with their party and expanded on by those is a different shade of blue.
4.5m yesterday Bozi that's well above average though less than 800k of that was before 430pm
Might have said it a few dozen times now, but volume will return properly next week along with the slimy city spivs who work in the city. Got to cover their new ULEZ somehow
Bozi. ironicaly i tend to agree with you.
maybe its because we've had so many false starts, and false misleading news that the financial markets and money makers
are thinking that on the face of it nothings changed with solg. so maybe there waiting for something concrete
*trading volumes picking up sharply.
Good luck with your purchase SM.
Add - I think it's possible that nothing has emerged but I'd hope it's not probable.
I agree with the point you're making and hope you're right. However, I'm wary of the source of the rumour and I'm wary of others trying to corroborate it. I strongly believe that had the murmurings had substance, trading volumes would be picking up shortly and the SP trending back in the direction we want to see it.
Spontaneous would have been best I agree. SOLG certainly struggles reading the room on sentiment and trust in the story given everything that has gone on.
Adikt. Once again in your rush to respond to me. Your making no sense
.
Please count to 12 before you reply.
Your post.
"Btw, please don't claim you were merely repeating the rumour, you actually gave your opinion by stating 'this time it seems real'.
Do you not see if of course I was repeating the rumour, otherwise how would I post it, if I hadn't heard it.
Me saying it seems like the real deal. Is my responce to the rumour I'm repeating.
I think you need to take quady advise and filter me. Before you make a complete fool of yourself.
By the way I never heard the rumour from a sourse I'd never met before in a coffee shop.
Maybe you need to reposition your indignation.
Because it's becoming clearer by the day nothings changed
The rumour can't be that strong lol ..... ...........the volume is pony!
Bozi, you make a fair point. However, the company laid out some clear parameters in the SR and have spent a full year pursuing them. Is it really possible that absolutely nothing has emerged? If this is the case it's a fail of epic proportions.
Personally, I do believe we'll see something before the AGM. If not, Caldwell will face many difficult questions.
I've said it before, but if the intention of announcing the SR was to give a boost to the sp, it failed and has simply led to a load of folk saying 'same old, same old', and has increased the cynicism which has surrounded the management of the company for years. Perhaps they would have been better off keeping quiet and delivering something out of the blue?
NAL, if global warming is indeed occurring, then the weather will get warmer where you are.
Folks, I can appreciate the doubts surrounding the rumour. After all, this is solg which has been up for sale longer than many of us care to remember. The rumour is coming from multiple sources, and I have always believed that there is no smoke without fire. The old investment mantra, buy on rumour, sell on news is what I am sticking to here. Lets face it, we have a tier 1, majors are looking to transition to energy metals, and Uncle Sam has declared copper strategic, a corporate action is inevitable.
I'm also rather dubious Bozi.. that being said, I've dipped a toe back in here this morning. I said earlier this year (much to the derision of Fort & co) that nothing would happen here until late Q3/early Q4.
Let's get that IPA done before the changing of the guard.
Surely, if this rumour had any ounce of credibility and was a poorly kept secret, we wouldn't be struggling to break 15p?
It wouldn't take a whole hesp of buying to get this back towards 20p - maybe 10-20m shares assuming little selling. That is a day or two's volume where buyers are returning in numbers.
It doesn't pass the smell test for me, yet.
I don't think it's a coincidence that the global rumour mill (if this BB is to be believed) is heating up after the first round of elections nudged us towards a Correa backed candidate. The Chinese had their fingers burned in Ecuador last year and will be keen to ensure that doesn't happen again before moving on another mine. The repeated noise around Cascabel being exempt from much of the ongoing environmental debate is very positive. Jiangxi still the likeliest buyers for me.
I would never filter either of you.
And deny myself good entertainment ?
Morning addicknt, hope all is well.
Like you I don't filter people, but drew the line with needalife.
Something is very wrong with this individual.
You too might want to make an exception.
You really don't get it, do you?
On the same day you posted your comments about the rumours and you then followed it up with another of your angry rants at someone else stating that 'nothing has changed'. Do you not see the blatantly obvious contradiction?
Btw, please don't claim you were merely repeating the rumour, you actually gave your opinion by stating 'this time it seems real'.
I sincerely hope what you've heard is correct, but if you genuinely believe it, as you obviously do, please stop going on and on with your 'nothing's changed' mantra. As I said, let's hope it is true, but as it stands it's still a rumour.
Adikt, are you reading that 2 or 3 others are hearing rumours.
Makes your hysterical post trying to make me out to be a clone of copperpot by making things up,
Look a bit silly.
Eloro no barbie today mate. First day of spring, the skies have opened and it's blowing a gale.
Spoke to soon yesterday.
NALs comments on a rumor definitely seem to have legs as someone I look to for advice has confirmed as much and heard the same ( not Australia), even the name of the suitor but still just gossip at this stage. They wouldn't disclose any more but sounds like talks are very advanced. Keep the faith... tick tock.
I can imagine NAL that it would be pretty annoying to have hard working folks footing the bills while others are on the beach, or busy throwing shrimps on barbies!
"and I believe we that next month"
Can we Brits have this in English, slug?
Tool.
Western australia. Early risers.
Early to bed.
Full days.
Hence the states 3.5 billion dollar budget surplus.
State not country.
We wouldn't mind independence. W A Mining is keeping the australia economy afloat.
You are up early NAL!
I hope you didn't stay up all night conjuring up witty barbs to hurl at the highly connected folks on here:)
I'm off to bed now.
Copperpot, do you remember that source you randomly met in pre-a- manger.
You know the one you had never met before, but miraculously struck up a conversation about solg
Rember him mate,
I'm just wondering if your due another trip over from Ireland to have another coffee in a london pre-a- manger, if there's any chance your source maybe around. To give us an update on the rumours that appear to be swirling round.
Just a shot in the dark mate. In any event enjoy your weekend
I doubt they need offices anywhere other than on site at Ecuador. These consultants will have their own offices, Mather used to do investor conferences out of his kitchen looking like he'd just been dragged out of bed and told the world was about to end.
There are a lot of clues that the end is nigh and these appointments are yet another. Still the biggest hint for me is Caldwell moving to "live" in a hellhole in South America. Nobody like that does that. He's there to hurry things across the line and I believe we that next month
